DO NOT HIRE 4US MOVING LLC
DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. As I write this they have my entire apartment on a truck and I have no idea where it is. I hired 4US on Oct. 1 to pack my two-bedroom LA apartment and load a PODS container. On Oct. 16 three movers showed up and worked from 8:59 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m. I reminded them all day that my storage access closed at 3 p.m. They left the job unfinished anyway. Both bathrooms were never touched. Rugs, closet contents, TV mounts and furniture they had already wrapped were still sitting in my apartment. I have photos. Then it got worse. At 3:17 the driver called to say he had arrived. He was at a Public Storage. Not my facility. Nobody on that crew realized they were at the wrong place, and I only found out because I drove to the correct facility and had to ask where my own movers were. I missed my access window. Nothing was delivered. My entire life sat on their truck overnight. The next day they sent me a bill for $2,737.50. Nine hours for a job they did not finish, plus charges billed in advance for a second day they never even sent a truck for. I asked them to itemize those nine hours. They never did. Not once. I gave up arguing. I agreed to pay the whole thing by credit card, which their own estimate and their own invoice both say they accept. I signed their card authorization form and sent it back. Two hours later they told me cash or Zelle only, handed to a representative they would send. No card. And they would not give me a delivery date. That is where I am. I have paid a $100 deposit. They have everything I own. I had to fly out of state and leave my belongings with people who will not tell me where they are. I am not the only one. Read the other reviews here. Then go to search . dca . ca . gov/hhm_search and look up their license yourself, the way I did. Look at what it says about their status and their insurance. I wish I had done that on Oct. 1. If you are reading this because you are about to book a mover, please book someone else. FOR BBB Use the same text above, then add this line at the end: Desired resolution: immediate return of my household goods undamaged, with no further storage or holding fees, and an itemized accounting of the nine hours billed for Oct. 16.
