Excellent purchase
Recently purchased a Canon 5DS Professional camera from 4k4less. No issue. Everything was great. Item was shipped within 24 hours, using Fedex ground, and arrived on time. There was no typical upsell like other camera shops. The camera is brand new, with 0 shutter actuation (checked using shuttercount for Mac). As fully expected, the camera is the international version ("Gray camera"), came straight from Canon Japan it looks like which is perfectly fine with me. Too many people I think are unnecesarily worried with "gray camera" status. Even when purchased at Canon dealer you will only have one year warranty anyway. The key I think is to right away use the camera within the RMA period, so that in the event there is an issue, you can do an exchange. A second option is to use credit card that provides extra warranty protection. I'm an experienced Canon user, and have multiple Canon L lenses and cameras, ranging from 6d, 6dmark ii, 5dmark iv, and eos R, with a mix of gray and direct from USA Canon dealer. From my experience, they do not go bad at all, within the 1 year warranty period. The most important thing is to go use them right away, where if there is a defect you'll find it right away.
