This company is absolutely terrible. I wish I had read some reviews before doing business with them. As stated in many other reviews, this company has terrible customer service, its almost as if they want customers to be unsatisfied with their service. I place an order over 1 month ago and have yet to receive that order. I have made several attempts to contact them requesting an update, and have not received a single response. Their online store clearly states the customer should receive the item in 1-2 weeks for the particular order being placed. Ive waited patiently for my order, which was a birthday gift, to arrive thinking it would be here with plenty of time to spare, boy was I wrong, and there isn't even an option on their web page to pull up your order. I took matters up with paypal before the 45 days grace period was up, and even after opening the case, they still ignore the customer, so I escalated this and should have a resolution soon. I usually don't have any issues ordering online through various other companies, but this one has got to be the worst I've had the misfortune of doing business with. It's a good thing we have the ability to write reviews on the internet for others to read, so companies like this are exposed for what they are. Needles to say, I wont be dealing with them anymore. I only wish I could have placed them at 0 stars for their "service", or lack of.

Email Correspondence About a Package That was NEVER Delivered
My mother ordered a package for me and my roommate for Christmas. It was the origin of our last names on nice paper, framed. I live at apartment 12 but the package was delivered to apartment 12A. I found this out after the tenant at apartment 12A told me he received it but gave it back to the FedEx delivery guy. I never received the package and thought 4crest.com would help expedite a refund or send out another package. This is what happened...

Hello,
My name is Michael Delahanty. My mother, Eileen Delahanty, placed an order with you to send out 2 frames with the family crests "Delahanty" and "Whetstone" ordered through your site. The fedex courier delivered the package to my neighbor, who in turn gave the package back to fedex thinking that it was at the wrong address, not knowing it was to me. Unfortunately, fedex is unable to located the package now and is taking full responsibility for the mistake.
When I spoke with a team member in fedex's trace department, he advised me to contact you to let you know the situation and to ask that another order to be sent to me, via overnight (if possible) and fedex will cover the cost for both shipping and the package. I have started a claim with fedex, and will have the processed claim from Fedex sent over to me today. When I have the claim, I can send it to you so you can begin processing my re-order.
Please let me know if this is at all possible, as I was hoping to have this gift under my tree for Christmas.
Thanks,
Michael Delahanty

Hello Michael
I'm sorry to hear about the issue you are having.
Do you have a FEDEX claim number? If so please forward it to me.
Thank you

Hello,
Hope all is well.
Unfortunately I have been extremely unsuccessful with FedEx. They have denied the claim I submitted and informed me that you would have to be the one to submit the claim, as the sender. I'm not sure why, but this is what FedEx is telling me. I have no problem speaking in detail about this over the phone, or working with you to complete the claim. I would just really like to have these frames. Receiving these as a gift has kind of become a tradition in my family as I'm the youngest of 7 children. All of my brothers and sisters have them, in addition to my parents. I was the last one to receive them. It's ultimately not about a monetary value, it's simply about the sentimental aspect. It's a very special gift and I've kind of been beside myself on this.
Please let me know if you can help as I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Thanks,
Mike Delahanty

Hello,
Hope all is well.
I was just wondering if I was ever going to get a response on the issue stated in the emails below?
I know my mother, Eileen Delahanty, has contacted you in regards to me never receiving these frames. She is the one who placed the order as a gift for my partner and I for Christmas. We never received the package which I have made perfectly clear in all of my correspondence.
It saddens me that my family has been ordering from your company for over 10 years with dozens of orders placed. As I stated in the email prior to this, I'm the youngest of 7. My mother has ordered for all of her children and their significant others. She has also ordered for herself and my father. I'm positive she has also given these as gifts to other family member's as well. So off the top of my head I can think of at least 16 orders my mother has placed with your company.
I noticed that you were having delivery issues this past year on a website called TrustPilot.com I have screen shot both negative reviews and the owner, Mike's response to these complaints. I find it interesting that Mike claims that if there is a problem with delivery, like if it gets lost in the mail (which is exactly what happened to me) you would refund the product 100%. This has proven to be completely false.
The truth is, we do NOT want a refund. We just want the gifts my mother ordered because we NEVER received them.
I know that you're very proud of your A+ rating with the BBB, but this is completely unsatisfactory business practices for their standards. My mother and I have kept all correspondence, and will be forced to contact the BBB if this issue is not resolved soon. I'm sick of waiting for a Christmas present from 2013.
Thank you.
Best,
Mike Delahanty

Hello Mike
Although I am no longer working at Origin of Names, as of Jan 31 2014 , I can still help you.
I am only seeing 3 orders from your mom. All say they were delivered.
Order 1 she ordered 8 prints unframed
Order 2 she ordered 2 prints unframed
Order 3 she ordered 2 prints (framed) .............this would be the package that you say is missing.

Hey Michelle,
Thanks for your reply.
Yes, Order 3, 2 prints (framed) Delahanty and Whetstone.
The package was delivered to my neighbor who in turn gave the package back to FedEx. When I spoke to FedEx they said they never received the package back from my neighbor. I live at Apt. 12 and my neighbor lives at Apt. 12A. These apartments are easily confused, but the bottom line was Apt. 12 (My apartment) never received the packages. When this all occurred I quickly began trying to get your company involved to help track the package but was extremely unsuccessful.

Hey Michelle,
Was there any reason why you decided you weren't going to email me back?
You simply could have passed along contact information that would assist in me trying to expedite this order that I NEVER RECEIVED. Instead you decided the better thing to do was ignore me?
All of these emails have been documented.
I need the contact information for someone that will actually help with this issue.
Thanks,
Mike Delahanty
So to Mike Kennaugh. You're absolutely right, there is 2 sides to every story and I'm just as interested as the other people reading this to hear your side.
All I want is my money back or the package my Mother ordered for me that was never delivered.

DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!
I ordered a product on Dec 7, 2011. They informed me that it was to be shipped on Dec 12 and would be here in time for Christmas. It's January 20th, and I still don't have it. As there is no phone number for the company, I had to email them...3 emails and no response even though an automated message says that you will receive a response in 3 business days. Finally I contacted my credit card company and I let 4crests know that I had to do that but was hoping that the product would still arrive and that all would be resolved. I got a very prompt, 1 sentence response stating that my order was cancelled due to my credit card company's involvement. Terrible, Terrible, Terrible service. I would never recommend this site to anyone.

Stay away from this one!
I never received my full order and in fact, I had to appeal to the Washington State Attorney General's office to try and intercede on my behalf. I live in Canada and I guess that's why 4Crests decided to stiff me on my order. Leaves a very bad taste in my mouth when I think of dealing with vendors of heritage items. Shame on you 4Crests!
