After searching on the net, I found 42nd Street Photo to have the best price for a new Tamron lens that I was looking for. It was easy to order from the web site and the customer service staff called to confirm the order.

My recent experience with 42nd street photo was excellent. They followed up with me about information missing from my order so they could ship it right away. I've been buying electronics and photography equipment from them for years and I would highly recommend them. Great customer service.

Impressive price on the camera we bought, easily the best online for a new non-refurbished item. I actually didn't mind the call afterward -- it wasn't a pushy upsell really, just a follow up from their NYC offices asking if I wanted extended drop/breakage warranties or accessories for the new camera. Sweetwater does this too (for music equipment) and I appreciate it. When I said that I didn't need anything, there wasn't any pressure, just a reminder that I could add the extended warranty after-the-fact up to two weeks after purchase. I'll definitely be shopping here again for lenses/etc in the future.

I received my purchase so quickly that I couldn't believe it. And I didn't even pay for expedited shipping.

I got the lense I wanted at the lowest price. I appreciated the phone call, prior to shipping my lense, just to make sure it was the correct product and that it would fit my camera. Very courteous. Thank you 42nd!

I got the best price I could find and found that the follow up call I got was a consultative call that helped me spend a little more for some much more appropriate accessories. I appreciate when I get good advice. I had an excellent experience and look forward to receiving my camera and accessories.
