I don’t mean to be one of those people but I am deeply upset due to my experience with 39dollarglasses. I sent those glasses in which cost me $20 to ship and on top of that it was $53 for them to actually make the lenses to fit the glasses. Earlier this morning I received an email that they broke my glasses. HOW DO YOU DO THAT ?!? I apologize for being dramatic but those sunglasses were very special to me and I wanted to replace the lenses so they could be my everyday. I wouldn’t say that I wouldn’t recommend this place because I am sure they do great work but I am still heartbroken by the lose of these. If anything I’d recommend going to an eye doctor by you to get them done in person.

This company is terrible in every regard. I had 3 different frames break in less than a month of receiving them. The company would not replace the glasses after the second break and said "the frames were defective." Why was that my problem and not theirs. The customer service people were rude and did not follow up on commitments they made to provide status on a return/replacement. I had to contact them 3 times and they blamed me for expecting they were going to follow through on their commitment. I will never buy from them again.

My lenses don’t transitions

I sent in a pair of brand new sunglasses with lenses, never worn that I paid $70.00 for. I was told by 39dollar that they would not be able to make new lenses because the curve of the lenses was to round. They said they would return the sunglasses back. Well they did but the lenses that originally were in the sunglasses were no longer in the frames or in the return package. Now I have frames with no lenses....which are useless.

I bought lens replacement service online and mailed in my frames for them to replace the lens. However they broke my frame, and asked me to either have a refund of the replacement lens only mind you they broke my frame! or pick a new frame from them. So I went ahead and picked out the frame that looked most similar to the one I sent in, but unfortunately they don't fit on my face so I sent it back to exchange for a new frame. This time the new frame came in, fit fine on my face but right lens is super blurry so I sent it back for a remake, and now they said their lens is fine and refuse to remake or exchange another pair. Because they broke my frame first, and wasted already over a month of time waiting exchanging, I need my glasses.
