Great recipes, Abysmal customer service. Wouldn’t let me resubscribe because “username already exists” and never answered my email. Tried to use my husband’s name and email address and had same problem, even though never had a Milk Street account under his name.

This is the second time something “fragile” was damaged during shipping. I’d like to say it’s entirely the fault of UPS (Underpaid Package Smashers), but the way the items were packed & protected left a lot to be desired.

My issue isn’t about products. It is about the “snooty” attitude of absolutely everyone on the program. The cooks/presenters talk like they are teaching a kindergartner. They need to assume that viewers are intelligent & can follow directions. The most obnoxious person on this show…Christopher Kimball!

I just finished an episode about making popovers and caramel sauce. I was excited to make perfect popovers from the professionals and was really disappointed that they never actually gave us the recipe of either. Viewers don't watch only for entertainment value, we want to try these recipes at home.

The coffee sugars I ordered were taped over the top for shipping and caused damage to the packaging on removal. It still spilled. Also, there was a ‘sealed for your protection’ on its side inside one package while the other never showed any sign of being sealed. Super sketchy, and I’m not risking my life for overpriced sugar.

We're so sorry to hear this happened! Your order was refunded and we're working on the packaging for these coffee sugars, stay tuned!

I signed up for a cake decorating class and the base cake recipe with semolina flour was a poor choice for the class. The cake tasted very rustic, with the “crunchy” mouthfeel of the fine semolina. It is not the type of cake you would want to frost and take the time to decorate for a celebration. The class should have offered a finer crumbed, more refined cake as a base.

This item was a gift, no gift message was included so the recipient had to call Milk Street to find out who sent it. With the holidays coming it needs to be corrected asap. Have a clear way to include a gift message if needed.
