Anymore when I look up a recipe, I gotta click off all the advertising from Milk Street. It is such a hassle. I’m thinking of canceling my subscription when it is time to renew because it is such a pain in the ass. I like the recipes, but I hate the ad so wasting my time as I always check out the store and anything new for sale, but I don’t like it pushed on me every time I wanna look at a recipe. My time is worth something, and I hate wasting it on your pushy ads.

As advertised

It truly is a perfect small chef's knife. The knife is lighter than I expected - the handle is plastic which is okay. Feels very comfortable in my hand. Blade is quite sharp - good!- and the sharp part extends to the end of the blade where it connects to the handle. Assuming it wears well, it is a keeper!

Good quality and size. Better instructions would be appreciated. How to use the steamer for example. Cleaning instructions for it as well. For stir fry came out great. Thanks.

Good product too much advertising

The products ordered and received from Milk Street are always very good. The Dan Dan Sauce received in my last order had opened slightly and leaked a bit although being wrapped as well as they were did not make a big mess. For some reason I did have to pay shipping on that order. I have made quite a few recipes (always good) and have several Milk Street cookbooks.

I emailed Milk Street CS on 9/30 asking for an update on the status of my order for the small carbon steel wok that I'd placed back in June and that was to have shipped at the end of August. I received a reply the following day with a tracking number and a message that the wok had just shipped. While satisfied with Milk Street CS's response time, I was left wondering if I ever would have received my order had I not contacted CS. The wok is well made/high quality and the perfect size for cooking for 1-2 people. Still, I'd hesitate to purchase a back-ordered item from Milk Street in the future given this experience.

Great products, to help me be a better cook. I enjoy puttering around in the kitchen and making things. As I say to all my young male friends, a guy that can cook, can have anything he wants. I have now bought about five, maybe six products from Milk Street. A couple of Chef's knives, a small WOK and some utensils. - All great products, and I use them often. Though the utensils are a little too large for my small kitchen. The Milk Street Knife is great, as is the small Wok. The Wok took FOREVER to arrive, I ordered it in August and finally got it in early November. As they say good things are worth waiting for. I am still waiting for it to make me a better cook, that will happen over time. Maybe I need to watch more of Christopher Kimball's videos.
