Nakuru Knife- I purchased this knife to keep at a friends house so I didn’t have to keep my Wüsthof knife there. The knife was “satisfactory” until the handle broke. I suppose I shouldn’t be too surprised since the handle appears to be made of plastic. Nevertheless it is disappointing. I asked if this is typical of this product and received the following response “ Thanks for reaching out! Due to the length of time since your purchase 7/14/2023, we are unable to offer a refund or replacement for your knife.” What is confusing to me is that i did not asked for a refund or replacement. I simply expressed my disappointment in the durability of the product and asked if cracks or breaks in the handle was typical.

Friend gifted me an Everyday Pan. Unfortunately it has a gouged out area in the cast iron cooking surface. I emailed Milk & Street about it and they said “oh this is a color blemish” and go ahead and use the pan. I emailed them again about the divot on the cooking surface and said it’s NOT a color blemish, there is a divot if you run your fingers over the defect. I received the same stock email reply. After the amount of money my friend spent on this gift, you would expect better customer support and service but nope, I was basically gaslit.

Ordered a cocobolo small nakiri November 18th and it said estimated shipping December 19. I check the site on the 19th and it got postponed to “January 2025” with no specific date and customer support did not give me any kind of reason why when I asked. Now I have to wait another month for something I should already have. Glad I didn’t get anything like that as a Christmas gift because they would have completely screwed me over.

You are a scam. Take my CC to charge $1 when it’s supposed to be free? Then Jacking the price to $30 a month. And no easy way to cancel? You are worse than the cable companies. I use to respect you Christapher . Not so much now. I have all the magazines going back 25 years (1999). What a scam.

Worst customer service ever!!! We ordered a skillet that we never received. When asking for a refund the customer service is all bots answering the emails with generic templates like we don’t have any control over FedEx.

Never received item! Ordered the Handmade Chitarra by Giovanni Iezzi and other items on Black Friday- 3 weeks later I receive a box with 2 items and a packing slip saying the was delivered, but the Chitarra was missing. Only when I asked, did Milk Street offer a refund. I guess Milk Street thought I wouldn't notice if they kept my money? A team member explained the item was now out of stock and the warehouse made an error. Not really what I wanted to hear at Christmas. Buyer beware.

Scam! Or maybe just the worst customer service. I signed up for the digital access promo of $1 (it goes up to $30 eventually). I was never able to login, even though I was charged, and their customer service keeps giving me the runaround, likely in hopes I'll forget about it and they can charge me $30. The whole experience has been a HUGE hassle and has not been resolved. Do NOT fall for the same.
