I have had this subscription for over a year. Forgot I had it and they charged me again. Never was able to sign in when O first subscribed and now their customer service still can't gat me an activation link. Absolutely trash website.

Signed onto 12 weeks for $1.00, Then they auto renewed $29.95 quarterly. When you call the 1-866 # I'm told they cannot help as they are undergoing restructuring of magazine. Left message and no one has returned a call which I didn't expect any way with this type of response. Worse part is I am unable to sign on with my E-maill and password so I have not been able access one recipe in all this time. Steer clear if you want less headaches.

Have emailed twice about erroneous order: NO RESPONSE. Nameless people answer on TrustPilot with more INCORRECT information… but don’t reply. There is no phone service and no recourse. TERRIBLE COMPANY.

This is a beautifully photographed book with some amazing recipes and history. However, I'm extremely disappointed in the print of the book. The titles on all recipes are compromised because the ink is faded and didn't print effectively. For a book as lovely as this and expensive as well, I expected better from Christopher Kimball. I will keep it, but again, I'm very disappointed in the print. I contacted Milk Street and they responded with the explanation that the print is not "faded", but rather the font they chose is because it's "rustic". I'm still disappointed and I think they should have disclosed that information. I originally accepted this explanation until I saw other reviews and pictures from people with no "faded ink" titles. I'm still keeping the book, however I believe their explanation to this issue is completely disingenuous. After having seen photos and reviews from others, some had this problem and others did not. I expected much more from Milk Street, Christopher Kimball and staff. I suspect proper quality control was not implemented in the printing of this expensive book.

I ordered a Nakiri knife through their website, but cancel the order the next day. They had not even shipped the knife yet, but they said since it was already labeled, they could not cancel the order and issue a refund. They said I could return it but then I would still have to pay over $10 for shipping. This seems like a ridiculous policy, considering the fact that the knife had not even left their premises! I will never deal with them again

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! HORRIBLE WEBSITE!! they take your money and can't give you access to their website. When you call, customer service can't help you and tell you their outside people only have access and aren't available and to email IT. When you ask for a supervisor, they start YELLING AT YOU!!!!. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON A SUBCRIPTION - YOU WON'T GET ACCESS TO RECIPES ANYWAYS

UPDATE - THEY CAME BACK AND MADE GOOD!! I RETRACT MY NEGATIVE REVIEW. HAPPY CUSTOMER

Company misrepresented one of my purchases. I bought an expensive Dutch Oven with accessories. The pan supposedly was enamel coated cast iron. Untrue! Now I’m expected to return a very heavy box with no assistance from Milk Street. If they had not exaggerated the details I would not be returning this item. Other three purchases were all fine.
