Awful customer service! Don't get scammed like me!
Awful customer service!! Do not order from them, they are scammers. They never respond to emails, they never sent my chair and I am stopping payment on my credit card. Worthless company, total rip offs!

Pretty much higher end IKEA furniture
Pretty much higher end IKEA furniture. I am highly disappointed for the money spent. I will be canceling my order for a chair from them. I bought an expensive Harrison desk, and it was missing parts and had broken parts that weren't from shipping. Customer service was decent, but their production and shipping are garbage for *HIGH END* furniture. Avoid this if you're looking for nice furniture. Note that the veneer is decent. MDF construction on a $2500 desk is laughable. Could not finish the desk, as the top wasn't aligned correctly with the legs, pictures attached. Pretty much a joke brand that pretends to be high end. It's missing parts and broken parts when I received the desk. Good luck when ordering from this place.

CAVEAT EMPTOR - Do NOT Buy From Zuri Furniture
My fiance and I purchased a high-end (approximately $800) desk chair in 2022. While this constituted a huge financial outlay, we considered this an investment... the last desk chair we would ever need to buy him.
Well... like an automobile made in the 1990s or a refrigerator made in the 2000s, this chair seems to have been produced under the principle of planned obsolescence... since here we are, in 2024, with a chair that substantially fell apart. I reached out to Zuri and spoke with a representative named Aldo, who was highly responsive but -- ultimately -- unable to stand behind the product since the one-year warranty had expired.
Rather than being offered a replacement, I was offered the opportunity to buy another chair with a $400 discount.
While we made a mistake buying the first chair, we now know better -- and will not spend good after bad.
Zuri -- you pretend to sell high-end products, but in reality, you are just peddling commodities... that I can buy for far less elsewhere.
** ADDITIONAL COMMENTS: 9/13/2024 **
Zuri sent me a an email on August 27, 2024, similarly accusing us of putting an "excessive amount of stress or strain" on the arm of the chair. I responded to Aldo, of Zuri, as follows with respect to that allegation:
"Kindly note that we are well aware that the warranty period expired. This is exactly why I seek to warn potential buyers... because whether this obsolescence is planned or unintentional, no one should ever spend more than $800 on a chair that will give out shortly after the warranty period ends.
So let me be clear -- my concern is not that the purchase warranty was not honored. My point is that this product quite literally fell apart shortly after the warranty period ended, and Zuri seems to have no interest in doing anything other than exhaling a giant sigh of relief that it can decline our very reasonable request for a refund.
Contractual compliance, however, does not equate to ethical conduct.
I would also like to address this portion of what you wrote:
"I would also point out that the photos that were provided to us show much more than just a screw that sheared off. Given that the photos show a large piece of the leather surrounding the armrest area was also ripped downward, it appears that there was an excessive amount of stress or strain put onto the armrest."
And, to be clear -- it was the sheared bolt that caused the damage to the leather on the chair, as well as the material underneath that leather. My fiancee lives with a permanent disability resulting from a huge swath of his back muscle being surgically removed as a result of flesh-eating bacteria and sepsis -- surgery which he only had a 50% chance of surviving (I would be happy to send pictures of his disfigured upper back as evidence of his permanent disability.) He barely has the strength to swing a golf club occasionally; exerting the degree of pressure required to sheer a metal bolt is far outside his physical capabilities -- even when he was at the height of his physical fitness prowess during the years he served as a cadet at West Point, as a military officer in Europe, and as a Company Commander during the first Gulf War.
Kindly also note that my fiance holds a degree in engineer and thus has some knowledge of metallurgy, stresses, and loads.
Lastly, please note that we are empty nesters, and our dogs weigh only 11 and 20 pounds and have never been allowed on that chair. As such, there are neither children nor canines on whom to blame this catastrophic product failure.
Rather, responsibility and blame rest solely with Zuri.
Accountability, however, appears to be a concept wholly out of reach.
All I am left with is the ability to warn others about your deceivingly luxurious, yet ultimately substandard, product.
And warn them I shall.
We are just grateful that the bolt sheered the chair, rather than my fiance's arm. Had that happened, we would be having a very different conversation."
Again - CAVEAT EMPTOR, as we consider next steps.

Hello Cathy,
We're sorry to hear that your chair broke outside of the one-year warranty, but in review of your support ticket it does look like the damage was caused by improper usage of the chair, and not a defect or manufacturing issue. We did offer to sell you the replacement seat at below costs in the hopes of taking care of you, but we understand if your desire is to replace the chair elsewhere, and are sorry we couldn't meet your needs 2 years post-purchase.
Please reach out to our support team at [email protected] if you have any other questions.
Sincerely,

BEWARE!!
BEWARE!!! This company is horrible! Do not buy from them if you want something in a timely manner!!! Zuri Furniture lied to me about the availability of a desk I wanted to purchase. They said it would be delivered in 3 to 5 days. I made sure before placing the order that their time frames were correct. Zuri Furniture assured me the desk was in stock and would be delivered within 3-5 days. 3 Days had passed, and the item had not even shipped yet. So, I emailed for a refund. They refused to give me a refund and said there would be a restocking fee. A restocking fee? I have not ever received the purchase!!! I am still fighting with the for my refund and still do not have my order. BUYER BEWARE of ZURI FURNITURE.

Hi Eric,
We're sorry that we were unable to meet your expectations for delivery, but do want to outline a few of the issues with your purchase since you chose to leave a one-star review. First, we did not lie about the availability of your desk; you placed an order at 11:45pm on a Monday evening when our warehouse was closed for the night, and our team got that desk palletized and picked up by FedEx on Tuesday, the next day. This is confirmed by the FedEx tracking number we sent you that shows "We have your package" at midnight that same day, which would be that Tuesday night or Wednesday morning. So FedEx picked the truck up from our warehouse Tuesday evening, and scanned your desk in with the remainder of our shipments that night, but your claim is that we didn’t ship the desk for three days, which is false.
At this point, you had been harassing our support team, stating if the desk did not arrive in the outlined three-to-five-day timeframe that you were going to refuse the desk delivery, file a chargeback, and that you planned to start leaving negative reviews on all the platforms available. The item was en route, but we can not control FedEx, so there is always the chance that they have delays due to weather, or any of the several reasons packages get delayed, which is why the three-to-five-day window is an ETA, like most delivery timeframes you get in online purchases.
Given you began abusing both our support team, and our support management, we chose to have the desk returned to our warehouse with FedEx and process a refund for you, as we didn't feel you were going to be happy with anything we had offered, or could offer, given you were upset the desk shipped out within a day and was in transit. You went so far as calling our support agent stupid, called them a “piece of s***” unprovoked, and then went on to claim that you “had very good connections on NBC consumer reports” and would send them all of our emails, which we hope that you do because we want them to see how you speak to customer service agents who have done nothing wrong.
We did choose to return the merchandise and get you your money back so that you could make a purchase elsewhere in the hopes that you would find someone who could meet your demands and timeline while tolerating the abuse, but we will not be party to that kind of behavior with our support team given they had done nothing wrong, and were actively trying to help you with the delivery and timelines you had demanded.
Your refund has been processed now that the desk is on it’s way back to our warehouse, and we hope that you have the best of luck in any future purchases you make, but please try and have some kind of empathy for the people on the other end of the emails and phone calls that you make, as you are not more important than them, nor are you entitled to speak to anyone that way.
Have a wonderful remainder of your day, and best of luck on the hunt for a new desk!
Sincerely,
Zuri Furniture Support

They are posting fake reviews on their…
They are posting fake reviews on their website. They stole my review when I first purchase this desk many years ago, then posted it on 3/25/24 as Tom. The picture even has a picture of my dog. I get that companies post fake review all the time. Still disrespectful to use the exact same post as a different person.

It's just pretty looking garbage - DO NOT BUY
We regretfully spent almost $3k on a leather sofa. Great looks but VERY poor quality. after less than 10 mths of regular use (2 adults) seams started becoming undone. Creaks and squeaks everywhere. Couch internal suspension system is clearly poorly designed and constructed. They sent out a repair guy that was sloppy and the couch now looks repaired. Not even a year old. Never again...

Hello Tony,
We are sorry to hear that you are unhappy with your purchase, but we are unable to locate any orders under your name. We'd love to review the issue and correct any outstanding issues, as all purchases have one year manufacturing warranties, and we do tend to go above and beyond that one-year timeline for issues as well.
Please reach out to our support team via Phone or Email with the name or order number so that we can review the issue and assist, as we'd love to see this experience turn around into a five-star situation.
Sincerely,
Zuri Furniture Support.

Ordered furniture online
Ordered furniture online. It said they would ship within 7 days. After I paid, I received an email "confirming" that the order will ship in 2 months. I've tried to get my money back, no response from customer service.

Do NOT order from this company
Do NOT order from this company. Find the item somewhere else. The delivery of the sofa I ordered was delayed significantly, arriving with damages in multiple places, despite my explicit requests for an undamaged product. I invested nearly $10,000 in this sofa, expecting perfection. Despite three different repairmen confirming the irreparable faults in its mechanisms, the company refuses to take responsibility. They now propose sending yet another repair person. Having made the purchase almost two years ago, I'm left without recourse with my credit card company. It feels as though they've taken my money, delivered a subpar sofa, and evaded resolution for almost a year. Communicating with them is an arduous process, often requiring multiple calls/emails due to what seems like an overwhelming volume of complaints they are handling. The problem is not about my sofa arriving damaged. Those things happen. It's about how they handled the situation thereafter. Aside from their business being completely disorganized, they have deceptive, unprofessional, and unreliable people working for them and representing the company. Buyers BEWARE!

Hello Michael,
We're sorry that you feel you have received a 1-star experience with your purchase. I want to be sure to address everything in your review starting with the delivery delay. This delivery was not delayed; you ordered a custom color sofa that is not normally produced, and when you purchased the piece you were informed of the estimated time of arrival before you submitted any payment. The order was slated to arrive to our facility in November, and it did; once it arrived, we got it out the door and into your possession as quickly as possible.
Once the piece arrived, you notified us that it had an impression in the back from the packaging and that the reclining mechanism slid out when you sat down (which is not a defect, it is as-designed). You compared the piece to a sofa you "bought before" which we finally confirmed was a purchase from a competitor of ours, but you referred to it as our piece assuming we would have the same feature set and build as a different furniture vendor.
We did originally send a technician to handle the imprint and to adjust the mechanism, which was unsuccessful, so in February of 2023 we offered to replace the pieces affected, and let you know that it would take some time since the factory would have to recreate the pieces given they were custom-made for you. You declined to accept this resolution, and kept pushing for a return, but the original agreement was that the order was non-returnable given it was a custom order.
At this time, we have been in constant communication with you, but you keep ghosting us, going months without response, then coming back as if we had been the reason nothing was done. You state that the issue isn't about the sofa arriving damaged, but you open your review stating that you "explicitly requested for an undamaged product" yet end it stating "those things happen." We're sorry that your item arrived with issues, and we're continuing to offer resolutions to correct those issues, even a year later despite the continuous gaps in communication from your side, because we do want you to have a five-star experience, and are hopeful that we can turn this experience around for you.
Please continue to reach out to our support team so that we can work on finalizing the next steps, as we would like to see this across the finish line with you so you can enjoy the unique piece in your home to it's fullest extent.
Sincerely,
Zuri Furniture Customer Support.
