Came across Zoner Studio almost by accident on Andy Hutchinson's youtube channel, until then I'd never once heard it mentioned. Given that I've been editing photos for 10 years on and off (just as a hobby) and that I've been looking for a free or at least affordable editor that is simple to use (so not Darktable!) for months now. I can't believe that none of the other youtube photographers (at least the ones I've watched) have bothered reviewing it - maybe something to do with who sponsors them hmmm.... Anyway I tried it out and wow, impressed. As an ex-Lightroom user (that refuses to pay their huge subscription fees), I found Zoner very easy to switch to and I can produce decent results pretty quickly. Also love the fact that it has layers in the Editor module and the tools there allow me to do everything that I would have used photoshop for. I wasn't keen initially on the subscription model, but the price is so good and the tool also that actually it's really great value. Plus there's unlimited cloud storage included. I have had it crash on me a couple of times and it took many many hours to attempt to catalog my photo's, but that could be because my PC is quite old so I still feel it's worth 5 stars :)
