Zearn really needs an update- NOW!! ASAP!! You have to go all the way around the solar system and earth 2 separate million times to get an answer! The learning method is confusing, and not every student learns the same way as Zearn teaches it, leading to confusion. ALSO, THIS NEEDS TO BE ADDRESSED TOO, MOST URGENTLY! The Tower of Power is not encouraging, and if anything MAKES A STUDENT FEEL DUMB. If you get an answer wrong, and make a mistake, it erases your progress and sends you all the way down the tower, and this stupid yellow cube thing shows up on your screen and makes you get help. It forces you, and you can't dismiss or close out the window. THEN, it makes you do a totally different problem, and makes you do it again with a different problem. WHAT'S WORSE is that after awhile, it starts repeating problems, which was at times the only way I could get past this pathetic excuse of a "Tower of Power" by writing down the answer. Also, one major thing too! There is NO incentive, award, game, or break for finishing lessons! You just have to do lessons over and over until your teacher or proctor says stop. Unlike Khan Academy, Prodigy, IXL, Study Island, edmentum, XtraMath (now), HappyNumbers, iReady, or really any other math EdTech program you can think of, on Zearn you have no award, incentive, encouragement, or game to play for completing lessons! Do better Zearn, and update your stupid CommonCore ways of teaching and encouragement for students. Students are suffering everywhere.

Glitched. Just broken

I am a teacher, and although I had not personally used Zearn before this summer, I was familiar with the program through conversations with my students and their math teacher. I would often hear students talking about Zearn, and their teacher frequently shared that students who consistently completed their Zearn lessons tended to perform better on assignments and assessments. Those conversations made me curious about the program and were one of the reasons I decided to use it with my own family. My 6-year-old daughter and my 5-year-old grandchild began using Zearn this summer. My grandchild is using the program to prepare for kindergarten and was excited about it from the start. My grandchild's mother commented on how interactive the program is. My daughter took a little longer to warm up to the program because I started her at the beginning, including the Pre-K lessons. At first, she was less enthusiastic because the content was below her current skill level. However, once she progressed beyond the Pre-K lessons, she quickly became engaged and began looking forward to her daily Zearn time. One of the things they enjoy most is that Zearn feels like a game rather than traditional schoolwork. They look forward to logging in and are excited to complete activities independently. My daughter especially enjoys the Learning Train, Learning Lab, and Tower of Power. These features make learning fun and motivating while providing meaningful opportunities to reinforce and strengthen her math skills during the summer months as she prepares for 1st grade. As both an educator and a parent, I appreciate how Zearn combines high-quality math instruction with an engaging student experience. It is wonderful to see young children excited about learning and eager to practice math on their own. I also appreciate that the program can support learners at different stages, from kindergarten readiness to reinforcing grade-level skills. Thank you for creating a program that makes learning both meaningful and enjoyable for children.

This website is TERRIBLE. First of all the instructors make it to where you have to understand how to travel to parallel universes to understand basic math and over complicates EVERYTHING. 2nd of all when you get anything wrong in math chat or Z squad, you restart the ENTIRE conversation that never dumbs anything down. And finally the tower of absolutely anything but power. All this is is just math chat but independent. Now you may think this doesn't sound all that bad. But when you get a very little amount of questions wrong (usually 2 or 3) This stupid yellow cube that is probably one of the most useless things of all time, Decides to waste your time and give you useless help. Now I usually wouldn't have a problem with this, except, After he "helps" You have to restart the entire section with a different equation and math terms. If any teacher is reading this, PLEASE dont use zearn to help kids learn math. It feels more like a punishment rather than learning.

Pretty good for a math company. and the pictures look good. it's really easy but fun. Also, the wild cards they put can be funny. And the tower of power is also fine. But the one thing that annoys me is that when I get a question wrong it has to take longer because of that stupid yellow cube but overall it is pretty good

When I was using Zearn in Elementry school I hated it with my heart and soul when I would get a question wrong on the tower of power I can still feel the dread and angry building up in my eyes if, someone threw a computer because of Zearn honestly that would be a valid reason. to summerize Zearn is terrible and if you don't geninuely hate your child DON'T get this app

I don't use Zearn anymore. It's been a long time, actually. HOWEVER. THIS WEBSITE IS GOD-AWFUL. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
