ZalesReviews of zales.com

The only reason I’m giving 2 stars is because I was able to return without much hassle but not without some personal disrespect, Mary at mall of america convinced me I was getting a good deal on a 4MM 10K ROPE CHAIN for 2178$ guess what though I take it home and measure 3.1-3.2mm and only 16.4 GRAMS OF GOLD total scam and false advertising I will be complaining to Better Business bureau, and Attorney Generals Office, the way they are doing business is criminal and people will be getting scammed if they trust this business I return and she says “I had a feeling you would return” like B$&$@ don’t act like it’s because I’m broke it’s because your price is not fair and you lied about it being 4mm if it would have been 25 grams like it’s supposed to you know damn well I wouldn’t have returned and demanded refund

Ordered this necklace as a gift for someone else but it came with my name on the necklace. Also the chain looks good but the name plate but the looks a prize from the bubble gum machine. I purchased this necklace five years ago for some else and it looked way better than this. The Zales box is plain and black the last time I was given a grey velvet jewelry case for the necklace. Not a cardboard box in a plain velvet bag. This is poor presentation to gift someone with. In addition, when I’ve made the purchase on October 31st a debit from my card in the amount of $245.03 was made several days later the funds was returned to my account. Then on November 23 of 2025. I received an email confirmation that my item had shipped a nd then my card was recharged. This has has caused an inconvenience and an overdraft in my account. I was under the impression that the merchandise was already paid for after making the initial order. I called the customer service rep and she confirmed that the item was already paid for and then I should not be recharged when in fact I was charged because the hold was removed so this is the first inconvenience that I experience After receiving the necklace. I am very dissatisfied with the quality of the merchandise. I expected the nameplate to look a little blingyer the name chain looks. The actual chain of the necklace looks fine, but the nameplate looks very much like costume play jewelry. Lastly, I made a call to Customer Service today for sales on Thursday, November 25 and this call was placed on 11:35 AM Eastern standard time. The customer service representative was very rude. She continue to let me know that the thank you note in the line where I was supposed to supply the name was different, which is I already knew. I have worked in customer service previously in my past for almost 20 years. I would never put blame on a customer without providing a resolution of how we can satisfy the customer or fix the problem this customer service representative did not offer me solutions she continued to ask questions. She placed me on an extremely long hold (15 minutes) asking me if she could research if it was my error with the warehouse error to my knowledge I put my sister‘s name in line one on the order form. I would not order a necklace for myself as a gift to my sister it’s very common that this could’ve been a computer error maybe not a warehouse error or human error .But certainly a computer error in the order form. The front end of the website contact forms are outdated on the zales website. I would like a refund and I am just very disappointed at the downfall of service in this company. I was unable to leave a review on product . I was unable to send an email to zales customer complaints. The forms on the contact interface of the on the front end of the sales forms. Contact forms are not able to be submitted. That’s why I am writing this letter so this is my fourth inconvenience and dealing with this company at this point I would just like a full refund and I do not think I will not be doing business with this company in the future.

I bought an item with a promotional plan 6 months ago. The promotional period expired, and rather than warn me and give me a chance to pay it off, I was hit with fees and a much higher interest rate. I view that as not very customer centered. I would have paid it off had I known. I will NEVER deal with Zales again.

The woman in the store was very unhelpful and rude to us. We needed help with sizing and ordering in order for the ring to be on time. She seemed like she was trying to discourage us from getting what we wanted. Very rude. O stars for her but two for the ring.. it’s very nice.

Jewelry Repair is extremely slow Zale's seemed to have a one way Relationship with its customers today I could not even Replace a battery to my watch because they didnt have the tools to take the back off and understand over the years I have spent close to 10.000 dollars with Zale

I am writing this review based on the transaction so far. I have not received the product as of yet, i will give another review when it comes in. They Double charged me to make sure the funds were available. Being on a paycheck to paycheck basis, its a little inconvenient. So instead of having money for groceries i have to wait a couple of days to get $400 put back on my card. More than likely will not buy from here again.

Well I tried to order some items from them under a 30% off sale. The items showed as in stock. I talked to customer services via live chat and email and they were friendly and helpful. I ordered them for delivery to a friend in the US. 3 days later the order was cancelled citing no stock. The item was still showing as available to buy on their site. I talked to them again via email and asked if it was definitely out of stock or if it was a payment issue and they said they couldn't confirm but to phone up customer services. I placed another order, with just one item, with the same payment details, and that was cancelled but this time the reason was payment information. I phoned up customer services, and asked if they could confirm the reason for cancelling was and whether they definitely did not have stock or not and they said they couldn't help but the reason on the email should be correct. But I could place another order with different payment method and see if it worked. But now their 30% offer had ended and although the person I emailed said they could honour that same deal, the person on the phone said they couldn't. So I declined, given the price was worse and most likely they didn't have the items anyway. The phone calls to them cost me about £9. It seems ridiculous they can't confirm stock. There are sites around who show items available to order but if you ask them about stock they tell you, but not this company. A huge waste of time. Customer services were friendly but not of any use where it matters, which is the company's fault nor the customer services' fault.

I've been a long time customer of zales, but as of August I ordered some rose gold earrings that turned colors by October, that's only 2months.But it gets worse, I took them back to the store only to b told to replace it the cost will be mine like it was my fault that zales sold me something that changed colors. There's more, after calling customer service, they explained that it's not guaranteed that my earrings would stay the same color by human error, if I was explained that they earrings may not stay the same color b4 purchase, I would not have purchased them, what a bad way to treat a long time customer
