Yumove is a natural joint aid and we do have various level depending on the severity of the joint issues. If your dog is whimpering when moving too fast or taking the stairs, we recommend taking them to a vet to ensure nothing very serious is amiss. Hi Carolyn, thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We do recommend that you double the daily amount for the first 4-6 weeks, to make sure your pooch begins to see the tail-wagging benefits as soon as possible. 🐕 Bites: - Small dog up to 35lb - one bite. - Medium dog 35-65lb- two bites - Large dog 66-100lb- three bites. - Extra large dog over 100lb - four bites. Daily Soft Chews: - For Small dogs (under 35lbs), give your dog 1 chew per day for the first 4-6 weeks then ½ chew per day ongoing - For Medium dogs (36 - 65lbs), give your dog 2 chews per day for the first 4-6 weeks, then 1 chew per day ongoing - For Large Dogs (65-100lbs), give your dog 2 chews per day for the first 4-6 weeks then 1 chew per day ongoing - For X-Large Dogs (over 100lbs), give your dog 3 chews per day for the first 4-6 weeks, then 1½ chews per day ongoing Chewable Tablets: - Small dog up to 35lb - one tablet - Medium dog 35-65lb- two tablets - Large dog 66-100lb- three tablets - Extra large dog over 100lb - four tablets I do hope this information is useful and that your doggie gets the help they need from our product! Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review, we're so disappointed to hear that your dog has not got on well with the supplements. Whilst it isn't a common occurrence, like with any dietary change sometimes adding YuMOVE into the animals diet may cause some mild gastrointestinal upset and diarrhoea in some rare cases. If this happens, it is usually mild and resolves itself. Sometimes it may be necessary to stop the product, let the digestive system settle down and reintroduce again, but this time starting at a very low amount and building up to the label amount gradually. This will allow the digestive system time to adjust to the new dietary elements. We do find that sometimes breaking up the tablet, or even crushing it before adding to food can help make it easier for the dog to take, or possibly even adding to a tiny amount of water to create a paste. We also do offer some alternative formats of the YuMOVE that your dog may prefer, and we'd love to discuss these options with you.
