If only it were possible to give this fraudulent site negative 5 stars! It billed itself as a way to find travel partners but turned out to be a fake dating site run by bots. Regardless of what I put down on my profile, I kept getting messages and invitation to video chat from people with corny/tacky lines. And oh yeah, all the men have PhDs, or they are neurosurgeons, or rocket scientists ... It is also next to impossible to cancel membership. Best way to handle it is call your credit card company and ask for a merchant block to stop the scam site to keep billing you.

Is terrible scam I receive so many emails of different good looking man that is ridiculous and what they wrote too. One guy was even calling for a video chat and was a totally different person in the profile pic! 🤦🏻‍♀️

I have never heard of TravelMates yet my profile and pics were on their site. How dare they. They got my profile from Amolatina which I unsubscribed to a few months ago. Its all fake. Now I need to chek my account again. Its terrible.

Your travel mates.com is a fake! scammy!! site. I wasted 2 years and £20.000 there, all I meet is scammers, liars, people with fake profiles, people there for thrills, sybersex etc, lots of seriously sick people, and let's not forget, the many thousands of ladies that work for the site, mostly models that get paid to talk fake words about love and togetherness so that men keep spending money. The truth is simple, no one ever meets. Fake! computer-generated messages, Fake! words from the ladies that work for the site, and Fake! words from the many scammers that are on the site. Also, all of the women use the site for free, as do the men scammers that have fake profiles as a woman. Men like me and other genuine men that made the mistake of entering the sites vast ocean of Sharks!!! have to pay for credits, which are outrageously!! expensive! The founders of the site need investigating and then need to be thrown in jail. Stay away!!!!!! from this site, it is as wrong and as dirty as you can get.

Crazy expensive site that leads to nothing but endless pay for messages. I tried having an actual chat with someone but yr credits gets eaten up by hundreds of messages popping up the minute u go online, even if u did not intentionally open the mail, before u realise u have not had any actual chats but no credits left. Seems a rip off to pay to read a message that someone has already paid to send. Initially u are allowed 1 free communication, but when u reply it does not reflect despite saying reply for free. I have bought credits that were not allocated either and after numerous requests for assistance and proof of bank statement, nothing was done...nobody cares, I wasted so much time trying to find a real connection, they do not allow contact details so you cannot progress past paying to say a few words.. most expensive few chats I ever had and never got any further. Total waste of time

Started talking to a really nice guy, I only got to exchange like 2 messages with him when I was asked to pay £19.99 to subscribe then asked for another £96 to send another message!! This is just ridiculously expensive, totally unnecessary! I am quite upset as I was hoping to talk more to the person and now I can't because I cannot afford the £96 to message him. What can be done so I can please just contact the man just give him my direct email address? I am very upset about this :(
