The "bamboo" cover is 30% polyester
Bought the Yana pillow for my wife's pregnancy. Everything in their marketing pushes bamboo - that's the whole reason we paid what we paid. We were specifically trying to avoid polyester. Then the cover shows up and it's a blend. Yana's own website lists the fabric as 40% rayon made from bamboo, 30% cotton, 30% polyester velour. A cover sold as bamboo is nearly a third polyester, and you only find that out if you dig through their site after the fact. We're expecting a baby. We shopped for bamboo specifically to keep polyester and microplastics away from our skin while we sleep - soon our kid's skin too. Finding out the "bamboo" cover is a third plastic feels like a bait and switch. The pillow itself is comfortable. The marketing is the problem. If you're buying this because you want to avoid polyester, know that you're not avoiding it.
