Maine Family M.
DO NOT BUY: $5,699 M4 Pro broke in two weeks, ZERO US support
My family member is disabled and depends on her XSTO M4 Pro power wheelchair. About two weeks after it arrived, the power button on the joystick arm stopped working. Now the chair only turns on if you unplug the controller and plug it back in. Support is EXTREMELY slow. There is ZERO US-based support and ZERO US phone number to actually resolve an issue. The only phone number they list is in China, and the only option is a website chat that replies about once a day. We reported the defect on September 28. On September 29 they wrote, "We can send a replacement joystick arm." Then they asked for photos, which we sent, and then said their technicians are "on break" until October 8, right around when the 30-day return window closes. It certainly appears they're pushing support out past the 30-day window. Nothing has shipped. A company selling expensive medical mobility equipment to US customers has to support it when it fails. XSTO doesn't. I would NOT recommend XSTO at all.
