World Wide ArtReviews of wwab.us

I have wonderful experience with Artavia Gallery and World Wide Art. I had a dream to participate in 2022 Spectrum Miami Art Fair Exhibition and with the help of Artavia Gallery my dream came true! Artavia provide an option to be represented on the digital screen with the artwork. This option is very convenient for the artists located outside the USA. All members of the Artavia support team ( Despina and Thomas Tunberg, Owen Walford) were very supportive and answered all my questions. Thank you very much! Hope to participate in the famous exhibitions with you again!

I truly love the opportunities that Thomas and Despina have given me. I’m in a few books of theirs and I really think it’s a beautiful way to showcase many talented artist. Because of this blessing I was able to attend the Art Expo in NY as a guest and it was truly an experience I’ll never forget. They are really good with working with you as well.

World Wide Art has been a pleasure to work with- Their information about events and opportunities has been informative and timely and of high quality.

I recently got a suspicious e-mail saying someone has selected me and my works among other artists... I mean "What? What are your standards then?" While I do post my works online, I am more than aware that I am no artist nor do I aspire to be one and I believe all of my portfolios on various sites convey that perfectly. I am a craftswoman working in digital game industry, a level designer to be precise, though I also posted some of my older works including some 3D animations and a few sketches. My kind of work is not suitable for a printed artbook nor does someone like me need to be featured in such. My conclusion - they are spamming at random people who might be at all interested, no matter how good or bad they are or how their works fit into their format.

It is interesting to note that the photo below of one "Sophia Alva" is actually of Sophia Bush, an American actress. One must question the validity of the review and--frankly--all the positive reviews posted here.

This publication "selects" artists by sending unsolicited emails claiming they came across artists’ work somewhere on the internet. I received an email from them claiming they saw my artwork on a website for artist organization that I am a member of which is false. Only my name is on the organization's website, no images or links to images of my artwork exists on the organization's website. I decided to research WWAB and discovered an artist has to pay a participation fee of $1385 for just 1 page and up to $9800 for the front cover to have their work featured in their books. I came across more artists claiming WWAB is a scam then artists claiming to have benefited after being featured in WWAB publications. To me, WWAB is not a good return on investment for artists. WWAB may be great for those who read it but not so much for the artist. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ UPDATE: Sixteen months later, WWAB discovered my post and replied. To WWAB, first of all, I am not a competitor. As I posted, I am one of many, many artists that actually received an unsolicited (spam) email from your organization. Your organization sends so many unsolicited (spam) emails to artists all over the place, why would a person need to fake a posting like this one? So yes, I have nothing to do with WWAB because I didn't pay that outrageous fee indicated in the unsolicited (spam) email. And to claim that that my posting is "insulting and hurting" is a joke. Your organization doesn't think it's insulting and/or hurting when spamming artists to pay an outrageous fee to appear in your publication that provides little to no results compared to what the artist pays to be in the publication. Therefore, NO -- N-O! I will NOT delete my comment. My comment will stand as is! I still have the unsolicited (spam) email and I have shared it with other artists as a warning to be on the lookout for unsolicited (spam) emails from WWAB. As far as the BBB rating, of course the rating is A+ because no one has filed a complaint! Artists use word of mouth (as I mentioned above) instead of the BBB. And those who read the books aren't going to complain because they received a copy of the book for free! Who in their right mind is going of file a complaint to the BBB for something they get for free?! Lastly, Yelp and word of mouth are more effective tools than the BBB. So an A+ rating with the BBB means nothing.

As I am an art lover, two months ago I bought International Contemporary Masters by World Wide Art Books Inc. to find some artworks for my home. The collection was very appealing and helped me make some good selections, and the walls look quite lively with the art work.

I always wanted to be a professional artist, but the scope of my success was quite limited. One of my friends suggested me to get my work showcased in books published by World Wide Art Books Inc., to get maximum visibility in the market. The idea worked and since the time my work got included in their books, I have made good connections with art lovers and gallery owners.
