STAY AWAY FROM WRITINGCREEK — My Experience After Almost 3 Years If you are considering joining Writingcreek, my advice is simple: DON’T. I am not writing this as someone who spent a few weeks on the platform and had one bad experience. I worked with Writingcreek for almost three years, built a solid professional reputation there, completed countless assignments and invested a substantial amount of my time, energy and intellectual effort into the platform. That is precisely why my experience is so disappointing. Writingcreek can make the arrangement look worthwhile at first. You work hard, complete assignments, build your standing and may initially feel that your efforts are being reasonably rewarded. But my experience was that the real problems emerge when you encounter their penalties, account enforcement or customer-support processes. I had money deducted from my earnings through fines that, from my perspective, were not properly justified. I sought explanations and attempted to get the matters investigated, but I was deeply dissatisfied with the responses and the way my concerns were handled. Customer support was another major source of frustration. When you expect someone to genuinely examine your case and help resolve an issue, the experience can instead leave you feeling that you are simply talking into a void. Raising concerns did not give me the sense that an impartial investigation was taking place. Eventually, my account was closed. After almost three years of contributing my time and effort to the platform, that experience left me feeling completely betrayed and profoundly disappointed (well, maybe not really surprised). What makes it even more frustrating is the feeling that the years of work and reputation you build can ultimately count for very little when the platform decides to take action against your account. I have seen the overwhelmingly negative feedback about Writingcreek, and my own experience is consistent with the concerns raised by other dissatisfied users. If you are a freelancer looking for a platform to invest your time and professional energy in, look elsewhere. There are many ways to earn from your skills without putting yourself through an experience that leaves you feeling undervalued, frustrated and powerless when disputes arise. My recommendation is unequivocal: stay away from Writingcreek! Out of my sweat and toil, they deducted money unjustly, in the name of fines they couldn't justify. Everyone who gets to see this: do all you can in your power to bring the company to book. I can guarantee you that the 5 star reviews you see are either from: economically disadvantaged countries where people will make do with peanuts (pardon me but I just have to be real), or naive freelancers who immediately got on-boarded not knowing the traps lying ahead (I'm sure if they remember they'd dropped reviews, they'd come back to correct their wrong) or their insolent staff, or the fellow farmers they pay and recruit to post fake reviews... Stay away from them everyone!!! PS: I had to do a serious editing of this review due to Trustpilot's policy, otherwise you guys reading this would have seen the raw uncovered truth. But no problem, let's just leave it at that.
