High pressure sales tactics to purchase a service I didn't need or want. I can't afford the service I was sold and $100.00 was billed to my credit card.

I'm not sure just how long I've been…
I'm not sure just how long I've been working with Wrightbranding, seems like two years, maybe, and I've not made my first dollar bill since I'm with them. I'm very discouraged. All I've done is spend thousands of dollars for promotions. That's the reason for 1 star.
Response from writersbranding.comMar 5, 2025
Hello Nealie, we understand your frustration and apologies for the delayed response. Upon review, we confirmed that your royalty report and check were sent on February 11, 2025. We understand that publishing and book promotion take time, and we want to ensure you see the results. Rest assured, your investment is a long-term one, and royalties accumulate over time. Consistency in promoting your book is key to driving sales, and we're here to support you along the way.

Unresponsive
After paying a significant amount for help in marketing my book, Writers Branding has been unresponsive, contacting me only to request more money for book fair opportunities. If they have done anything at all to promote my book, they haven't informed me about it.

Little More than a money scam
The company has done very little to earn the $2,500 plus paid them. I had to initiate contact to get a response. They only call me first to ask for more money.
On June 25th they requested $2,500 more for my share of an alleged U Tube ad campaign. The reason for this is my book has low sales and the "money? people must be shown hits on the campaign to offset.
When we had our first conversation before any payment I told them the book had not sold. Now they want more money because the book has not sold to convince the mythical money people/ Little more than a scam.
Keep your money and don't waste your time.
I wish to ad a response to their response. Yes I hit the wrong key and it used the wrong number and I failed to catch my error. However that said and admitted it does not change anything. They were told by me the book did not sell. They took the money from me with that guilty knowledge. Now they want another $2,500 for a campaign allegedly designed to overcome that failing. They said up front that was not a deal breaker and now they say it is after taking my original funds. Please also note the response from them pointedly did not address nor respond to this key point. They also like to mention major investors are interested and ready to go if only I pay them more money for a campaign on You Tube. Still waiting an answer for that.

Hi Charles,
Thank you for sharing your feedback. I apologize for any frustration you've experienced. I’d like to clarify a few points to ensure we are addressing your concerns accurately.
Firstly, the total amount paid to us is $2,549, not $3,600 plus. Regarding our communication, we understand that timely responses are crucial, and we are working to improve our processes to ensure more prompt interactions.
Regarding the YouTube ad campaign, our goal is to provide you with the most effective marketing strategies to increase your book’s visibility. Social media platforms like YouTube can significantly boost exposure and potentially attract traditional publishers. We suggested this campaign to help your book reach a broader audience, not to scam you.
At Writers' Branding, we are committed to transparency and helping authors succeed. We have a track record of satisfied clients, and our continued success in the industry is built on trust and effective service.
We value your feedback and are here to assist you.

these guys are a scam
these guys are a scam. They also harass authors--reaching out via phone, text, & email with the same carbon-copy "we love your book and our agents recognize it as the highest calibre and we fully endorse this product." When I pressed for "which book is that?" They supplied my most politically volatile book which is not currently selling as it was socially relevant a few years ago but has since lapsed into obscurity. These hacks don't read anything--they harvest lists to find phone numbers and emails and then use text spam, robodialers, and email (BCC, of course) to fool young writers into giving htem money for junk marketing products which are ineffective and overpriced.
There is a huge expose on Writers Beware about them, but Trustpilot will not let me post it--search it out, it is a through take down of a slimy company that keeps contacting me against my wishes.

Hello, Andy. Your project is still on hold due to an outstanding balance on your account. It shows that you paid for the service in three equal installments with the last payment being pending; you may call our hotline to settle the balance so that we can move your project to the next phase. Thank you for your patience.
