I booked Crowne Plaza hotel at Istanbul Zeytinburnu from 7th Oct 2026 to 9th Oct 2026. I had air conditioning issues. The air conditioner get cuts off every 5 mins and restarts. On 9th October it got worse and humid. I complained on 9th Oct 2026 at 5.50 am to Recieptionist. The technician came told me that the air conditioning functions according to climate. The technician adjusted and told everything is alright. But i experienced warm and two nights sleep was disturbed. The Recieptionist offered no solution. After complaining he offered to change room. In the middle of my sleep. I did not change. So much stress staying this hotel. Why should guest suffer despite paying with such a bad air conditioning system. Secondly, i want report breakfast has very limited choices. The same buffet was repeated next day. Disappointed. This hotel is little far from tourist sightseeing and travelling in taxi with heavy traffic.

So, in May I received a welcome email from Consumers Reports with all these wonderful one time free additional treasures I had it before except I never read it. So I sent the sticker back in the begining of June. For a FREE Subscription with Best Car/Worst Car best computers/best everything. Free Free Free. So a few weeks ago they begin asking for their 20$. Like 20$ is so huge. I paid it on July 16th which will almost be 2 months since I heard the word Free. I have not received anything from them July is almost over. Supposedly no payment required from May when I sent the card back to them. It’s CC an Embarrassing moment for Consumer Reports not me.

I was very disappointed to learn that I went through the right channels to book my hotel and flights with nectar and the points never came. I trusted nectar to automatically do what was offered. I even chatted with them after the transaction and they confirmed it was on my account. Now almost a year later.... which I shouldn't have waited that long...I chatted again and they said the transactions are not on my account. After explaining this story over and over again they offered me 500pts as a good will gesture within 24hrs. I waited and waited and another week has passed and still no points. Got in touch again and was told the operator had difficulty administering the points. After speaking to the third operator I got the points immediately. Come on nectar what's the problem here?
