Caveat: I work at a firm that is an investor in Wren. I work at a VC firm that was first a customer and is now an investor in Wren. We found Wren to be the simplest and most transparent way for us to offset the carbon footprint of our firm's travel. When we looked at other carbon offset marketplaces, we didn't know how much of our spend would go directly to the carbon offset projects, versus how much would go to various middle brokers. With Wren, our spend is transparent and we know that for every $10 we spend on Wren, $8 goes to the project and $2 goes to maintaining Wren. We also liked that we could sign up quickly and easily without having to go through a sales process, which wasn't always the case in other carbon offset marketplaces we considered before learning about Wren.
