Had high expectations of Beaver Builder…
Had high expectations of Beaver Builder (BB) aka Fastline Media LLC but it conflicted with Boldgrid so abandoned and noticed BB within a week. 4 years later BB still charging my cc for a service that they acknowledge I NEVER used. BB's practice is that a single year subscription empowers them to auto-charge your cc into infinity and beyond, but then blame your email provider if you didn't know they were doing it. BB's auto-renew practice is part of the trend toward "Illegal Dark Patterns that Trick or Trap Consumers into Subscriptions" (links not allowed so search FTC 10/28/21 using quoted text). -- Paraphrase of Robby's response below: "We're sorry, but not so sorry that we won't keep your $ unless you can catch us taking it within 30 days."

Hey there. This is Robby from Beaver Builder. I'm very sorry about this. When we decided to start automatic renewals, we put a lot of thought and effort into being transparent, informing customers during the purchase and before the renewal, and making it easy to opt-out. Our order receipt emails state that subscriptions renew automatically. We send an email notification one week before and on the renewal day. There is also a clearly marked button on one's account page to cancel the automatic payment any time. It's not hidden and we don't obfuscate the process at all. That said, we all know emails can get lost in the mix and if you felt like you weren't properly informed, please reach out to us using our contact page or our support page and we'll do our best to make it right. We have a 30-day no-questions-asked refund policy. We'll gladly refund your recent renewal payment. Our reputation is very important to us, so I hope you'll allow us to correct the issue and reconsider this review. Thank you.
