I signed up for the 7 day/7 lookup free trial which turned out to be not a free trial. They claimed that I "purchased" a membership which I had not done. They won't refund my money so now I'm out $19.95. When I contacted customer service they never got back to me.

2/23/16 signed up for 7 day free trial, used site for one evening. Site very slow, did not provide information I was looking for. Cancelled, received confirmation subscription was cancelled via email. Looked at my credit card account a few days later and saw they billed me for $539.99, annual subscription. I was shocked! First the site makes it appear if you choose the annual subscription choice you save 50% and it is billed in monthly installments. So I called them today, 2/25/16, and spoke to the customer service person. Who informed me of how it works. It is 7 days or 7 lookups! I certainly wasn't aware of that! Oh and once you hit the 7 lookups then a box appears asking you to confirm your subscription, which I don't remember and this seals in your subscription! Ok, but I only used it for one evening. Asked about prorating the fee since did not use it for 7 days. Nope-- once you click that box apparently you are charged the full amount whether you use it or not. I won't be using it because it does not provide information I need. She was very argumentative, demeaning and telling me I was wrong and she could ask a manager to call me and see if we could reach an agreement but this was iffy, might happen, might not. Might get a call might not. I logged back in to the account and it confirms I do not have any subscriptions! I want my money back. That is absolutely absurd they would charge me $539.99 for one evening of browsing!

We are sorry that you found your user experience disappointing. We do note that our customer service representative walked you through the screens were our terms and conditions are clearly laid out for you as you sign up for the services and you have acknowledged that they are there and that you must have missed them. We have also reviewed the recording of the call and believe that it was professionally handled. Tyler, our customer service manager, has offered to only charge you for one month, at the one-month fee level, and refund the difference and will await your answer on that. In regard to your concern on the speed of the site, this is why we give the free trial: for you to try to see if you like the site. When you exhausted your free trail, you elected to keep using the product and opted to buy when the prompt warned you were about to go over your free limit. In regard to your account being turned off, that is because you manually chose to do this. Our customer service group would be glad to go back in and turn it on for you anytime you would like if you are worried about doing it yourself. Please just give us a call anytime between 8 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. EST, Monday through Friday.

Terrible company & terrible customer service. I thought about joining a while back and saw they offered a free 7 day trial. They now changed that to "FREE for 7 days or 7 lookups". That's VERY confusing and I didn't even realize the "7 lookups". This is a new practice of deception they didn't practice in the past. I looked up 7 items and when I tried to look up the 8th it wasn't showing me the price and instead where the price should be there was a button that said "Activate paid subscription". I thought it was an error because I didn't see the new "7 lookups" stipulation they added to the 7 day free trial. I clicked on the button thinking it would show me the price or give me the option to CONFIRM I wanted to be CHARGED $19.99/mo for a subscription but IT DIDN'T! Clicking that button AUTOMATICALLY charged me $19.99 without seeing a confirmation or review of what was happening, it just charged my PayPal acct $19.99, so within minutes of signing up for my "Free 7 day trial" I was charged $19.99. I immediately stopped using and contacted customer service. They told me I'm SOL that it's in their terms of service and in the "Welcome email" I received so they were unwilling to refund even though I explained their a bunch of thieves and that the "Free 7 days or 7 lookups" wording is very DECEPTIVE!! I paid $19.99 to lookup 8 items!! TERRIBLE COMPANY & TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!

Do not give Worthpoint your credit card number. If you have, and Worthpoint is billing you for a subscription fee you have not authorized, contact your credit card company and file a dispute. You can also file a complaint with the BBB. Try writing to Worthpoint President. If he does not respond try to contact a Board Member to let them know what Worhpoint is doing with your account and unauthorized charges. We believe Worthpoint Company uses unacceptable marketing, selling and billing methods/modes. Their goal is to increase revenue, and this business does not care how it hurts their potential customers financially. Document your complaints against Worthpoint on safe sites.

I thought I was testing out the service as a trial period. I don't have time to read tiny fine print details in every single thing that I do online. I called because I cannot afford $20 a month to research items online, it was my impression that I would not be charged as long as I was testing it out. I didn't realize I was " signing up" for this monthly! $20 is a lot ! I explained my predicament to Anita, the wonderfully condescending customer service rep. , and she was no help at all. I want my $ refused and I will never use this service and let my fellow antique dealers, which are many, to avoid this website. I am in the antique business, and have been for years so I am very disappointed in the integrity & quality of contact they have representing them.

I started a 7 day free trial. They said I could look up 7 items. I looked up 3 with different variations. Then I was charged 19.99 I stopped use of this sight. I called them Monday AM 7-20-15. When they told me they were not authorized to issue a refund. I asked to speak to a manager and they told me he would give me a call back. I waited till Wed am 7-22-15 called She said manager will call me back. Now I see they canceled my subscription on the 22nd after our phone call. I called this morning 7-23-15 asking who canceled my subscription she ( Anita ) said she did she said you stated You did not want the service you wanted a refund so I canceled your subscription . I asked am I getting a refund her reply was " NO Mam " She took me around in circles. I am completely dissatisfied with there customer service and the searches I did do were very outdated. there is more sold listings on ebay than there sight it. I have been researching prices for 10 years now this is by far the worst research sight I have ever been on. I read the agreement and it states look up 7 items. I only looked up 3. After 3 days they canceled my subscription with out my consent and with out a refund.

I signed up for their 7 day free trial, looked up 1 item, which was incorrect in value. Cancelled the service the next day, by phone, because they billed paypal immediately. Day 5 still no refund, sent email message cancelling and phone call message AGAIN. No RESPONSE!!! Day 7 called again, had to leave message, sent email cancelling again! NO RESPONSE Called again Day 10, left message, NO RESPONSE. Contacted Paypal, disputing 19.99 charge, report to BBB and filing complaint with consumer fraud with AG office Atlanta, GA. COMPLETE RIPOFF SCAM - AVOID!!
