Waste of 40 minutes on the phone
I got the call first from Leon and the caller ID said Atlanta but he told me that wasn't true. Foreign aaccent. He swore his Sr. Mgr liked my book so much he would wave the $582 fee. So I talked to Steven who also was foreign. I asked what he liked about the book and I could tell he was reading right off my testimonials and back cover. Even when I asked which chapter and why I could tell he was reading really fast and putting sentences together out of my writing. After 40 minutes I told him I'm not paying anything and he said, "of course there's a setup fee." I told him what Leon had said because I said in the first minute he called I wasn't giving them any money. Steven said that wssn't true, and the conversation ended.
