I spent months online trying to…
I spent months online trying to purchase a watch ftom World of Luxury. Although I had never done business with this dealer before, the example they had of my grail watch quickly eliminated the competition. After literally months of arranging finances and navigating a site that was not user friendly, I finally touched base with the salesperson and successfully completed the online purchase. I was delighted to finally secure my grail watch, or at least I thought I had. Today days later, I received a call informing me that the watch was on hold for another customer and that if he did not purchase it, the sale would go through as previously indicated even though the purchase had gone through and I have a receipt issued by World of Luxury. Had some else offered them more? Had they sold it to me too cheaply? I didn't know what to think! When the disappointment I felt subsided a bit and my head cleared, I knew what I had to do and cancelled the sale. In the end, you purchase the dealer, not the watch. Had I perused the reviews on Trustpilot before, I would not have made the purchase. That would be my advice to you as well.
