A Nightmare Experience: Avoid This Company at All Costs I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with WFG, and I must say it was an absolute disaster from start to finish. I signed up with high hopes of receiving quality classes and support, but all I got was a never-ending nightmare. First and foremost, this company's main objective seems to be scamming innocent individuals out of their hard-earned money. From the moment you step foot into their so-called "classes," it becomes evident that their primary focus is pressure selling. They shamelessly try to upsell you at every turn, disregarding your actual needs or concerns. It's nothing short of infuriating and unprofessional. If you're expecting helpful classes or any semblance of support, think again. They promise comprehensive guidance, but all they deliver is disappointment. The classes offered were lackluster and barely scratched the surface of the topics they claimed to cover. Instead of nurturing learning, it feels like they're just checking a box and moving on. What's worse is the judgmental atmosphere that permeates their entire operation. If you happen to be a bit slow in grasping their content or asking questions, you're immediately treated as an inconvenience. Instead of offering genuine assistance, they seem eager to leave you feeling foolish and belittled. It's a toxic and demoralizing experience. But wait, it gets even worse. When you find yourself lost in their poorly structured classes or struggling with the material, good luck trying to reach a live person for help. It's like trying to find a needle in a haystack. Their customer support is virtually non-existent, leaving you feeling abandoned and frustrated. In summary, I can't find a single redeeming quality about this company. It's nothing more than a den of deceitful practices, inadequate classes, and a complete lack of empathy for their customers. If you value your time, money, and sanity, steer clear of WFG. There are countless other reputable options out there that actually care about their customers' success and wellbeing.

A system to do scam and fraud which is legally approved and you can do nothing about it so better STAY AWAY! I am a businessman with high income, I give everything a try, I was approved by a WFG agent he has 3 goals sell to me, sell to my family and friends then recruit me - now all sales happen under the illusion that it will help you make money ( legal scam ) to be an agent you will spend money and give up all your friends numbers to this guy selling to you. I meet a lot of people from WFG, all normal moral people have quite, all annoying people who can take advantage of others stay on and stay nice things about it. you see mixed reviews online because all negative reviews are real all positive reviews are by agents who make money or think they will make money by selling this lie AS a agent you can never talk to anyone in WFG other than the guy who hires you.

Possibly fraud, be careful and stay away! My friend proceeded with my life insurance application despite me asking to hold back. 3 weeks later and I didn’t get my refund yet! I submitted a bank dispute and writing this review. I’m a high earning individual with a good level of financial literacy. I got into this based on trusting my friend. Pyramid and MLM schemes are based on a pyramid of recruiting at their core. So you only make good money by recruiting other people, i.e. you start with your friends and hope they’ll recruit other people, etc. Are you a recruiter, or do you want to become one? Don’t expect to make enough money other wise. Full stop. My friend misled me into paying $157 during our first meeting and even asked me to ignore online reviews! She told me about the high potential earnings, and how some people make loads of money. It will always be “them making money” and not the person you’re talking to. I heard confusing stories about her joining recently vs her working there for 8 years. I’m doing two jobs right now and a side hustle. We discussed multiple business opportunities but I think to her it was always about this one MLM thing, everything else wasn’t real. When we walked back to our cars, I was surprised by the cheap car she owned. We started working on my financial needs analysis. I have some credit card debt this year and with 22% interest rate, that should be my absolute priority to eliminate. During those sessions, the credit card debt was the least discussed topic out of all. Life insurance was the main focus and later I realized most of the time was spent trying to sell me that insurance, which she always said “was a no brainer”. I started entertaining the idea and she told me we need to submit an application to get a quotation, so I thought why not and I’ll decide later. After a few days I asked my friend to hold back on my life insurance application. Days after holding back, I was shocked to be charged $300 anyway from my checking account! Finally, you’ll get a lot of recommendations about high performing “actively managed” mutual funds with 2-3% fees and you’ll get some push towards that as well. I told my friend about index funds at zero or close to zero fees and she didn’t seem interested in discussing that. I think those fees are part of the whole cycle of getting your money. The problem with high fee mutual funds is that they eat up 2-3% of your compound interest. Realistically, you’re expecting 8-10% average annual return over a long term period. 2-3% eats up 20-30% of your own money and that compounds more over years. You don’t even guarantee the success of these mutual funds, the only person whose guaranteed to make money is the fund manager making 2-3% of a big portfolio. Also, these mutual funds are trying to beat the market by having a “professional” managing them, actively buying and selling. Historically, it was impossible to beat the market long term and the market average was always better in 5, 10, or 20 years. On the other hand, the “professional” is subject to human errors and may even leave their job and you don’t guarantee whose the next manager. So instead, invest in market index funds such as S&P 500 and Nasdaq 100 without giving your money to anyone else. Invest continuously and hold for at least 5 years and preferably until retirement. You’ll grow with the market which has been growing over the past century. Read “The Little Book of Common Sense Investing” by John C. Bogle the founder of Vanguard or search YouTube for “3 fund portfolio”. So, I’m doing two jobs plus a side hustle. When I met with my friend I told her “I’m really really busy and my time is expensive. You got my attention and I’m investing time on this just based on trusting you.” In the beginning she was always available and always responding. Once I started to ask questions around pyramid and MLM, she started giving me the “I’m busy” BS, and “I spent this amount of hours with you…”. How shameless and disrespectful is that! Your time was never more important than mine!

One of the most incompetent companies I have ever had the displeasure of working with. For nearly a year now, I have been trying to make a simple investment transfer to another company. This should a week, but not with WFG. What a disaster. Complete lack professionalism. Run, don’t walk, away from this institution.

The company isn't a scam, it's a legit company. However, the insurance agents themselves are all contracted and they will scam you. There's no integrity, no one is actually educated in finances. They all get the same script and you have to follow that script everywhere you go. There's no department that verifies if everything was done appropriately, thus leading to people constantly being ripped off. They go around cancelling your current plans or plans other agents have made specifically to make money off you. The people above TAKE the money you're supposed to earn, you only get 30%, but as an independent agent not working under wfg or working under a different you get 100%. It's just your typical MLM. They will tell you it's not a pyramid, but if there are only a handful of people at the top, and a majority on the bottom, that is a pyramid. You have to recruit people but you aren't allowed to tell them what the company does until they agree to be recruited. There's a complete LACK of transparency. They show up to people's homes unannounced and they basically harass you until you get recruited or buy a plan. Don't get me wrong, there are agents and offices that are working with integrity and through proper means and channels, however, because of how easy it is to cheat people there are a lot more agents scamming people than actually doing any good. Also, many people that do get recruited don't realize what they are in for and they lose a lot of money in the recruitment process as well as getting lost in the false promises. Highly recommend looking into each agent and how they conduct their business before you decide to do business with them.

INSURANCE POLICY BUYER BEWARE!!!! If you are exploring the option to purchase a life insurance policy through a World Financial Group agent, READ THE FINE PRINT about the policy and PUT THE PRESSURE ON YOUR AGENT to be clear and transparent. The agent who sold me the policy misled me on the nuances to this life insurance policy and had she been more transparent and clear with her explanation about this particular policy, I would not have purchased it. In other words, if you engage with World Financial Group, do your homework as their agents will try to deceive you.
