Dear Taylor, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you were not fully satisfied with your experience with our editing services. In reviewing your edited document (a CV) with a total wordcount of around 380 words, we have found that the editor did make over 20 revisions and numerous formatting changes, in addition to leaving 16 marginal comments explaining the revisions and suggesting further ways to improve your writing. While we try to ensure satisfaction on all of our edited documents, CVs and resumes can present an issue due to the differing demands of authors (some want extensive revision and many vocabulary changes, while others only want formatting and grammar issues fixed) and the quality of the original submitted work. In the case of your document, your vocabulary terms--such as power verbs in the bulleted sections--were quite strong and your sentences contained VERY few grammar and punctuation errors. Therefore, if an editor were to change these already strong terms and phrases, it would be somewhat arbitrary and most clients would probably object to their original work being changed for no good reason. Leaving detailed instructions for these documents in particular (CVs and resumes) can be helpful in letting the editor know exactly what you want them to look at and revise. We do hope you understand the difficulty of this particular issue and will consider amending your review accordingly. Please contact us directly if you have any further questions or concerns.

We are sorry that you were not satisfied with our editing services. Our admissions essay editors ultimately apply their own subjective approach to style and expressions, and although your particular editor does have a perfect client review record and has certainly applied more than basic grammar revisions (including rewriting several sentences and substituting more than 35 vocabulary terms), not all clients will be satisfied with the approach of their editors. We invite you to contact us directly and see what we can do to improve your experience with Wordvice. We do thank you for using our services and leaving your feedback for us.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry you were not satisfied with our services. Looking at your correspondence with our editor, it seems you asked her to reduced the word count by nearly 75 words. However, as we mention in our service details, our editors are obligated to reduce up to 10% of the original word count (which is quite a bit more than your requested word count reduction). Furthermore, because your turnaround time was 24 hours and your request for word count reduction was made 10 hours after your order was placed, it is likely that your editor was already working on or nearly finished revising your document at the time your message was sent. Please understand that our editors are very busy with other orders and that very short turnaround times require all of the instructions to be made at the time of the order to ensure compliance with all of your requests. Please contact us directly and we will do our best to rectify this situation and ensure your satisfaction.
