I genuinely enjoy the Woofz app. We have a four year old pup and a 12 week pup. The courses are short and fun. I love that it tracks how many hours spent on commands and a reasonable timeframe for a dog to learn the command. It’s been great with our puppy and for our adult who we are training to learn new commands and tricks.

We have just started using Woofz and so far so good. Our dog is 6 so a little bit older but we didn’t persist with some of the obedience training when they were a puppy, such as the positive word ‘yes’. The only reason I scored 4 stars instead of 5 is the plan only seems to start prior to getting a puppy and not entirely clear how to create a plan for an older dog that already has most of the basic commands. I’m sure I will work out way through it as we go over the initial puppy ones.

Really easy to navigate and breaks down the amount of time to spend on each lesson and what success looks like so you know when your dog has mastered a lesson. Explanations for how to teach your dog are clear. The plan is customizable to how much time you have per day to train and/or how much training your dog can tolerate at once. It takes the guesswork out of building a layered training plan. I also like that I can keep track of other parts of my dog’s routine and health. Definitely the best training app I’ve tried.

Just started can really rate it as I haven’t gone very far.

I believed I was signing up for a one-month plan at £15.79, not an ongoing subscription charging £78.96 per month. This was not made clear or prominent, and I would never have agreed had it been. There were no renewal emails, no payment reminders, and no clear post-purchase confirmation showing the true ongoing cost. The jump from £15.79 to £78.96 was extreme and completely unexpected. After researching online, I found many customers reporting the same issue, suggesting this is a pattern, not a misunderstanding. I only became aware payments were continuing because my card provider froze my card, flagging the activity as suspicious. Offering a “free extension” instead of addressing unauthorised charges was inappropriate. To be fair, after formally escalating and threatening further action, Woofz did eventually refund me, but the process was stressful, time-consuming and avoidable. Proceed with extreme caution and read everything carefully before signing up.

Very easy to follow instructions. Step by step progression with lots of time on each level and opportunities to consolidate learning.
