Paid for a 3 month subscription expecting it to run out. They automatically renewed it for the entire year for $94. Customer service said it was in the fine print. Fine, but at least warn me first. No email or message through the app. Nothing. Just yanked the money from my account. I did call customer service and all they did was offer me extra months of membership. Why would I extend a service that I did not want in the first place. This company is deceptive.

We’d like to clarify that the subscription terms, including the auto-renewal and billing cycle, are shown on the purchase screen before completing the payment. However, we absolutely understand your point, even when information is provided, it can feel unexpected without a clear reminder beforehand. Regarding notifications, our system: like many subscription-based services it does not send separate renewal reminders, as the renewal occurs automatically to ensure uninterrupted access. That said, we hear your concern, and your feedback about adding clearer reminders is very valid and will be shared with our team. We’re also sorry that the proposed extension did not feel like a helpful solution in your case. That was intended as a goodwill gesture, but we understand why it didn’t meet your needs. We truly regret that your experience left you feeling this way, and we appreciate you taking the time to share it.
