Nice product but walnut wood quality was poor.
Great product selection and clever design of N shaped wood strips on top of strong thick felt backing. Easy to cut and install with screws or finishing nails. Take care with your saw, the wood is fragile and not many staples are used to attach the wood to the felt. My initial order contained areas of scrap walnut. Perhaps from the end of a production run by the factory in Vietnam, or I may have received a rejected/returned product. Many deep black knots, warps, cracks, voids, and various deformed sections were not suitable for visible areas. Customer service was excellent, to allow me to request replacement and pay for extra material to allow disposal of useless scrap sections. Some good panels were also warped, making installation difficult. As with all natural materials, I suggest you buy 150% or 200% of the amount you expect to use and plan to either discard or return the defective or damaged panels. This is not furniture grade walnut. The photos on the website show the very best examples of high quality walnut. That is not the actual material appearance. Be prepared to spend extra time to sort and cut pieces to remove defective areas. Customer service suggested saving all carboard boxes while you inspect every panel. This allows you to return any that cannot be used.

We also reviewed your order and confirmed that we replaced the box you found unsuitable due to knots completely free of charge. While we strive to ensure the best selection of wood panels, it’s important to note that furniture-grade walnut without knots does not exist in natural solid wood.
