Recently purchased a premium subscription. It's very well made but I'm surprised by how slow it is though. It's been about 6 hours and it's sent 7 applications... A tool like this is only feasible if it targets many more jobs, hundreds. Gonna give it a few more days and if it's this slow the whole time I'm just gonna unsubscribe. It needs to be faster.

Signing up was super easy, and the pricing felt fair to me. The auto apply thing honestly saved me. I just don't have the time or patience sit there applying to jobs one by one
Response from Wobo - AI Job Search & Resume BuilderMay 16, 2026
Mack, "no time or patience" is basically the whole reason auto-apply exists — happy it's doing its job! Glad the sign-up was smooth too. Hope you start seeing some great matches coming through! -Martha

Took all my personal information and still claims my profile is incomplete. Feels like a scam harvesting data from desperate job seekers.
Response from Wobo - AI Job Search & Resume BuilderAug 4, 2025
Hi Nikhil, I’m sorry our platform left you feeling uneasy, privacy is non-negotiable for us, so I want to clear up what happened. - Why you saw “profile incomplete” Our logs show the account was opened and closed in under two minutes, and both the Profile and Job Preferences pages were left empty. Without a resume, job titles, or location preferences, Wobo can’t start searching or applying. The alert you saw was simply a prompt to finish those fields; no applications were ever sent. - What happens to your data We do not sell, share, or “harvest” personal info. The only time your details leave Wobo is when we submit a job application you’ve approved, and then they go only to that employer. Our full policy is at wobo.ai/privacy. - Next steps We emailed the address on file right after your review but haven’t heard back. If you’d like us to delete the account, walk you through the setup, or answer any other questions, just write to [email protected] and we’ll handle it right away. Wobo’s goal is to save job-seekers time, not waste it. If you ever decide to give us another look, we’ll be happy to guide you through the quick setup so you can see exactly how the platform works before anything is sent. Thanks for taking the time to share feedback. — Martha

Matching is fine, which is really helpful for someone like me who works full-time. I saw them on news and decided to give it a try. It would’ve been better if they applied to more jobs on my behalf, 160 in a month is not enough since I'm looking into different sectors. Also, there’s no option to get credits with extra payment if they add that, it’d be great! Plus It’s really easy to reach support, and honestly, that’s another thing I like about it.
Response from Wobo - AI Job Search & Resume BuilderMay 16, 2026
Matthew, really appreciate the honest feedback! Glad the matching has been useful while juggling a full-time job. The note about more credits and cross-sector applying is something we're definitely thinking about — I'll make sure it gets passed along to the team. And happy to hear support has been easy to reach, that means a lot to us! -Martha

Their AI hallucinated information and happily applied to jobs anyways, wasting everyones time

Hi Peter, Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We immediately conducted a full technical review of your account to understand what happened. Our investigation found that out of your 80 job applications, one application incorrectly stated your relocation preferences due to a parsing error in our system. While this represents a 98.75% accuracy rate, we understand that even one misrepresentation can be frustrating when dealing with recruiters. We've identified the problematic application and updated its data accordingly. We're also using this feedback to improve our system's accuracy moving forward. We reached out to you directly with a solution and complimentary service upgrade as a gesture of goodwill. We appreciate all user feedback as it helps us continuously improve our platform. Our goal is to provide accurate, reliable job application services. Thank you for helping us identify this issue. Best regards, Serdar Co-founder, Wobo

Waste of money and time. It says you get '80 applications' per month but it never got close, toward the end of the month before I cancelled it applied to '26' and qued up like 500; seems scammy to get you to pay another month. Also, you dont get any visibility on what is being sent to companies. Worst of all; the matching is atrocious, its completely useless because the matching is so bad.
Response from Wobo - AI Job Search & Resume BuilderMay 31, 2025
We tried to look into your account, but it has already been deleted, so we no longer have the data we'd need to verify what happened. Because we never received a support request while the account was active, we didn't have a chance to fix (or even see) the issues you mention. Still, let me address each point as clearly as possible: Regarding your specific points: Application numbers: Our dashboard tracks and displays every application sent. Any discrepancies would have been investigated and corrected. Billing: There's no requirement to wait for the next month - users can continue applying as long as they have sufficient credits. No additional payment is needed. Transparency: Our platform provides complete visibility - users can view detailed job analyses, application responses, cover letters, and all application data through their dashboard. If you encounter any issues with our platform, please reach out to us at [email protected] - we’re always ready to help, and we can only fix issues we know about. Best regards, Serdar Co-founder, Wobo

Just wanted to share my recent experience with Wobo AI in case anyone else is thinking about using it. I signed up for their premium paid plan, which gives you 160 job application credits and promises to apply on your behalf using AI. Sounds great in theory — and at first, things seemed to be working. They submitted 20 applications for me. But I quickly noticed a big issue: many of the jobs were "hybrid" roles located 7–8 hours away from me (I live in Irvine, CA, and the jobs were in San Francisco). That’s obviously not feasible if the role expects any kind of in-office presence. I also saw multiple applications submitted to the same company for similar roles, which I understood but still felt like a waste of limited credits. Concerned, I reached out through the app and asked to speak to a real person. I didn’t get a response for over 24 hours. When I followed up and (politely) mentioned I might leave feedback online if I didn’t hear back, they completely canceled my subscription, issued a partial refund, and said they would no longer provide service to me. Their explanation? The system auto-marked my chat as “resolved” after I initially clicked “That helped,” so they didn’t see my follow-up. Even after acknowledging that, they still decided to cut ties rather than actually address the issue or help me fix my profile preferences. TL;DR: Wobo did apply to jobs, but many were irrelevant due to location. Limited credits were wasted with no way to recover them. Support was unresponsive, and when I pushed for help, they canceled my account instead of assisting. Partial refund only. If you're considering Wobo, I’d recommend being cautious, especially if you have specific location or role needs. The tech is promising, but the support and handling of feedback left a lot to be desired in my case.

Hi Tony, Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear that your experience with Wobo didn’t meet your expectations. However, we’d like to provide important context for other readers. Our platform submitted 20 job applications based on the regional preferences you selected, including hybrid roles located within California. We encourage users to regularly refine their preferences to ensure increasingly precise job matches. Regarding multiple applications to the same company, we carefully reviewed your logs and confirmed no more than two applications per company. These were to large organizations hiring similar roles across different departments—an intentional, strategic decision rather than redundant effort. As for support, your initial chat was automatically closed when you selected “That helped” on the AI assistant’s response, causing your subsequent message not to appear as active. Additionally, we do not provide live support during weekends, which contributed to the response delay. Most importantly, and as we explained clearly in our private correspondence, our decision to terminate your subscription and issue a refund had nothing to do with your service feedback. It was solely due to your follow-up message, which contained a clear ultimatum: if you didn’t receive a reply within 24 hours, you would leave negative reviews publicly. We view this type of communication as threatening and counterproductive, especially since there was no genuine service failure. Despite this, we still issued a full refund, even though the promised services were delivered in full. We have closed your account completely, and consider the matter resolved. We wish you success in your job search going forward. — Serdar

In 20 days, wobo had only applied to 21 jobs. That's an average of about 0.9 jobs a day... Even taking into account the first 3-4 day "personalization" period, that's 1.1 jobs a day which is pretty terrible since I can easily apply to 15 jobs in 30 minutes on my own. When I reached out to support, they let me know that something had gone wrong, refunded my month membership and offered me an additional month for free. It applied to 32 more jobs and stopped working again, when I reached back out to support, they let me know that they'd forgotten to add the extra free month to my account and they now they have added it. 5 days later, still no more applications. Update: I've decided to try wobo again, just from a complete lack of other companies that are doing this, and it appears to actually be working this time. I'm only 3 days in and will update this again, but raising from 1 star to 2 star for now.
