WirestockReviews of wirestock.io

I am writing to express my disappointment with the recent project experience. Despite significant time and effort invested in creating and editing the illustrations to meet your specific requirements, I have encountered issues regarding compensation and overall project satisfaction. I was told my content was not original and not compensated for the hours of work I put in. Warning for Artists and Creatives: I strongly advise against sharing your original artwork with Wirestock. My experience with this platform has been extremely disappointing, involving unfair compensation and excessive demands. Please exercise caution and consider the potential risks before collaborating with this platform. Your time, talent, and creativity deserve to be valued and respected. Peace.

Unfortunately, I made the mistake of subscribing to their service, thinking I could upload up to 100 images per month. It turned out to be one of the worst decisions I've made. As someone mentioned in a review earlier, they seem to approve images based on their mood that day. Out of the 100 images I uploaded in a month, barely 20 were accepted. To make matters worse, I haven't made a single sale in over three months. So, what's the point of paying for a subscription? And just to clarify, I'm not a beginner in this field.

Horrible company!!!! You spend much time and money to make good images and after long time the reviewers decline the images for Portofolio only. Whats the point??? The reviewers are not correct, its like they accept or decline an image depending on their mood that day. Stay away until Wirestock change that system.

I recently reached the payout threshold on Wirestock, only to be surprised by the suspension of my account. The reason given was that my content was allegedly on another agency, but I was not provided with any specific information or means to appeal this decision. I have invested both time and money in using this platform, and the lack of clarity and communication regarding my account status is extremely frustrating. There is no avenue for me to clarify or appeal their decision, which feels unfair and unprofessional. This experience has left me very dissatisfied, and I believe improvements are needed in their communication and support processes. Transparency in decisions affecting contributors is crucial, and I urge Wirestock to provide clearer guidelines and an appeal process for contributors facing similar issues.

I can no longer upload new photos and can’t remove old ones without paying a subscription fee that is substantially larger than the pennies I get on sales. So the platform is frozen for me. The return on most photos is not worth the time it takes to upload them. If the subscription were less expensive it would be easier to justify, as I do get some sales and exposure.

Very poor sales

Having problem getting paid for the second time. Performance seems shady, especially I keep uploading photos but some month the sales numbers gotten worse while the other stock agency performs better as I upload more. I wonder if the company is in some kind of financial trouble for the also stop their mobile app operation. If your time is valuable and you have to choose between which agency you want to sell your photos through, I'd hold up on this one.

Extremely shady. Unrealistic expectations. As an artist, you're required to create 50 sets of 5 3D renders each (a total of 250 images) in just 10 days. After all that, the images still go through an approval process where none might be accepted, yet they can still use them since you're not allowed to watermark the work for review. Their instructions are also questionable, like the one that asks for '4 brief captions in a commanding tone' for each edit, which makes it seem like they're using your work and captions for AI training. The whole process feels unrealistic and shady. I recommend passing on this 'freelance opportunity.
