A respected company on the slide?
I placed an order via the Winsor & Newton website and was delighted to see it was due to arrive today, I made a point of being home to receive the order which was being provided by a company called Colart using DPD as their delivery company. An hour window of delivery was provided so I made sure I was sat in the front of the house with a view of our drive/the road outside and with the window open (it's a hot day but it also meant I could hear anyone who drove onto or walked up the driveway) And then I received a text from DPD advising my parcel will be delivered the following day at my 'nearest' shop 'as no one was in today' At the same time an email arrived from Colart saying 'sorry we missed you' Absolute tosh that you or DPD are sorry, nobody attempted a delivery and I'm being inconvenienced because clearly your customers don't matter. Winsor & Newton are a company I've held in high esteem as a quality supplier of art materials since my art school days 40 years ago, they were the brand my father used and recommended to me... as father and son we've been using Winsor and Newton products for a combined 80 years... their parent company Colart are doing Winsor & Newton and their customers a complete disservice If this matter isn't resolved I won't be using Winsor & Newton or any other Colart company again, not that I imagine that matters to them or DPD
