Hi Robert, our interest rates are indeed higher than traditional lenders. This is because we lend to customers with a wider range of credit histories, many of whom might not be able to secure financing elsewhere. We encourage all our customers to pay off their loan as soon as their finances allow because this can save them a significant amount of money on interest and we do not charge any prepayment penalty fees. Willow Lake Lending issues loans in accordance with the Tribe’s Tribal Consumer Financial Services Regulatory Code which is licensed under Tribal law and is committed to the highest standards of conduct, dedicated to ensuring the best possible experience for their customers, and fully compliant with Federal Law.
