The delivery was on time but the meat was subpar. Their chicken has puncture holes all over it like they inject it with something. Some of the exotic pieces like sweet breads are ordered were absolutely awful. Some of their products were not vacuum sealed fully and had air in them and were freezer burnt. I love mail order food if it's good but I'm going to have to drop out of this membership quality control sucks

Frozen Fork
The ambience is cool but after all you realize everything is frozen solid and nothing is fresh. But it's the cheapest ground chuck in town, which I use for my dog

Wrong Order, Poor Packaging
I don't particularly like to give negative reviews, but I just want to be honest here so that others using Wild Fork's services know in advance what may happen.
Note: Before making a purchase, I was mildly concerned when I noticed that most reviews were between 3 and 4 stars, but I decided not to worry. It turns out that there is a reason for those reviews. Here, I will list the pros and cons of my recent (and only) experience with Wild Fork Foods.
Pros: The food arrived on time. When it shipped, I was notified, and I was also notified within minutes of the package being dropped off at my door. Also, later when I contacted customer service, the agent was very understanding, helpful and professional. I am very pleased with how she handled my complaint.
Cons: The box that I received was not in good condition, and tape was falling off. The insulation (inner lining) was very cheaply put together. No ice packs were provided inside to keep my meats from thawing out. Some items were thawed out almost completely, and one item (a meatloaf) was even falling out of its paper packaging. And on top of all that, I was shipped the wrong order altogether.
I am giving two stars instead of one because the customer service was good. Though my roommate and I were disappointed not to have received what we wanted, we were able to keep the other foods which we received (the ones which were in good condition). Also, I was promptly issued a refund after I submitted photos of the incorrect food items which I received. I really appreciate that Wild Fork Foods was so quick to take care of this.

Good food, terrible delivery service
Tried Wild Forks and after 4 deliveries I can state that the food is of good quality for the most part. However, delivery service they use is atrocious.
The food will leave the store frozen. They use so little dry ice that 3 our of 4 times the ice completely evaporated by the time I receive my order.
They outsource to "Roadie". They are unreliable to deliver in the time window quoted. You have no way to reach driver. Driver does not post updates. Driver will drop and run when they finally arrive (last delivery was over 4 hours from expired delivery window). They do not ring doorbell to let you know of delivery.
Some of my food received was thawed ( but cold) when it was unpacked. I now have to alter my menu for the week to incorporate the thawed goods.
Wild Forks website prompts for a tip in advance of completion of order. DO NOT TIP WHEN PLACING ORDER!!

They don't know what they are doing
Meat was good but getting a refund (in store purchase) on the chicken pot pie via EBT was terrible. No one knew what to do. Called later to talk with manager who said everyone would be trained how to do it. Offered me a chocolate lava thing for my trouble. Later, got email saying they cannot do EBT refund yet and don't give a discount on anything for poor customer service. Will not recommend them to my friends. Phone call on hold for over 40 minutes. Not going back. They are clueless as to what good customer service is.

1st time costumer
1st time costumer, dont know about the beef or other products except the salmon was a 3 out of 5 .the problem is I ordered ground lamb, and even waited a day to see if it was in a separate container. When I called and stayed on hold a NEANDERTHALLish
Jerk told me that I got an email showing that the lamb wasn't included because of a problem. I asked when it would be arriving. Mr cromanion said I would have to re order. I asked if there would be a charge because of it being their fault. Now the lamb was for a SPECIAL occasion and I never got an email, and the Dude on the phone needs a lobotomy. 1st time costumer and treated that way.
