Our $99 Mystery Box is designed so that every customer receives at minimum the full retail value of what they paid, while also having a chance to receive bottles valued significantly higher as many have before you. Because the contents are completely randomized, some boxes will contain more readily available bottles while others will include rarer or higher-value selections. We completely understand that you were hoping for something more unique or harder to find. However, we are transparent that the Mystery Box is intended to provide the excitement of not knowing what you’ll receive, rather than guaranteeing a discount or a rare bottle in every box. We appreciate your feedback and will take it into consideration as we continue improving the Mystery Box experience and how we communicate what customers can expect.

We take feedback seriously and want to clarify the facts of this order for transparency. The package in question was marked delivered by with photo evidence confirming delivery at the correct address. There is clear delivery confirmation and photographic proof constituting a completed delivery under the couriers policies. Despite this, and as a gesture of goodwill, we issued a full refund for the order, even though the shipment was not lost and was confirmed delivered. Our shipping protection is designed to cover packages that are lost or damaged in transit, not those confirmed delivered by the carrier. That said, we chose to go above and beyond in this case to resolve the situation for you. We categorically reject the claim that we are scammers. Whiskey Caviar has fulfilled tens of thousands of successful orders and stands behind fair, documented resolutions when issues arise.

At checkout, the shipping address entered was flagged by our system due to an incorrect street name. Our team promptly contacted you to request clarification, and you confirmed an updated address. The order was shipped to the address you approved and was subsequently marked as delivered and signed for by the carrier. After delivery, you informed us that the address was incorrect. While we understand how frustrating this situation can be, we are unable to assume responsibility for packages that are successfully delivered to the address provided and confirmed by the customer.

To ensure bottles arrive safely and without leakage, we wrap them in plastic wrap, and then electrical tape on top of the wrap. If you remove the wrapping, you will see that the wax seal is perfectly intact. Please rest assured that all our products are sourced directly from authorized distributors, and we take pride in delivering genuine and high-quality spirits to our customers. We take our customer service and product quality seriously. The order in question was shipped as requested and arrived with a minor crack in the plastic casing that holds the bottle. Importantly, the bottle itself, including its seal and cork, was completely intact and undamaged. She claims that the box was damaged prior to shipment, but cannot prove that. It is well known that accidents happen in transit, especially with the way boxes are handled. Due to federal regulations prohibiting the return of alcohol, we were unable to accept a return. We communicated this policy to the customer. Please keep in mind that we send out thousands of orders a month, with overwhelmingly positive reviews and hundreds of returning customers.
