WARNING! DO NOT HIRE WEB TECH CRAFT! ABSOLUTELY DISGRACEFUL BUSINESS PRACTICES! THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM IN MY OPINION, AND THUMBTACK SHOULD BE ASHAMED TO HAVE A COMPANY LIKE THIS ADVERTISING ON ITS PLATFORM! I cannot stress this enough: DO NOT GIVE WEB TECH CRAFT YOUR HARD-EARNED MONEY! In November 2025, I made the unfortunate mistake of hiring Web Tech Craft and paying them $1,000 for website development, hosting, maintenance, and other services. While my website initially looked good, it wasn’t long before EVERYTHING began falling apart! My website repeatedly malfunctioned, and worst of all, my customers experienced problems placing orders. For a small business owner, THAT IS COMPLETELY UNACCEPTABLE! I worked directly with two individuals, Paul and Benjamin, and I have NEVER been so disgusted by the lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service I experienced. Both were consistently slow to address problems, and sometimes the issues weren’t resolved at all! They advertise 24/7 support, which, based on my experience, is A COMPLETE LIE! Good luck getting help over the weekend! You could have a website emergency affecting your business, and apparently you’re expected to sit around until Monday or Tuesday while they decide when it’s convenient to respond! BUT HERE’S WHERE IT GETS EVEN WORSE! In September 2026, after dealing with more than enough of their incompetence, I requested that my services be canceled and that I receive a prorated refund for the remaining years of hosting and maintenance I PAID FOR IN ADVANCE! Paul and Benjamin were initially communicating with me and were supposed to provide documents regarding my cancellation and refund. THEN THEY BOTH WENT COMPLETELY SILENT! No documents. No refund. No answers. NO ACCOUNTABILITY! It has been approximately TWO TO THREE WEEKS of unanswered communications and repeated attempts to get this matter resolved. I’ve emailed, followed up, and even attempted to call the company’s main office, only to receive NO ANSWER! SO YOU CAN TAKE MY $1,000, BUT YOU CAN’T ANSWER A PHONE CALL OR RESPOND TO AN EMAIL ABOUT RETURNING MONEY FOR SERVICES YOU HAVEN’T PROVIDED? ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! And the AUDACITY of this company to advertise a MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE while refusing to provide any meaningful communication about my refund is beyond unacceptable! As of October 9th, 2026, I STILL have not received my refund or the promised documents. I find these business practices dishonest, misleading, and completely disrespectful to paying customers. THUMBTACK, YOU NEED TO INVESTIGATE THIS COMPANY! It is absolutely unacceptable for small business owners to find companies through your platform, trust them with thousands of dollars and critical business operations, and then be left chasing representatives who suddenly become unreachable when it’s time to address complaints or refund money! I am publicly calling on Thumbtack to investigate Web Tech Craft, review its advertising claims, and determine whether this company should continue being allowed to solicit customers through its platform. PAUL AND BENJAMIN, YOUR SILENCE SPEAKS VOLUMES ABOUT HOW YOU TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS! I paid for THREE YEARS of services. I used approximately TEN MONTHS before requesting cancellation because of ongoing problems, and now I cannot even get a response regarding the money I paid for the remaining years! I have been patient. I have been professional. I have given this company repeated opportunities to make things right. I AM DONE BEING IGNORED! I will be pursuing every appropriate avenue available to recover my money and formally report my experience. TO ANYONE CONSIDERING HIRING WEB TECH CRAFT: RUN THE OTHER WAY! Save yourself the money, stress, frustration, lost time, and potential disruption to your business. ZERO ACCOUNTABILITY. TERRIBLE COMMUNICATION. UNRELIABLE SERVICES. BROKEN PROMISES. AND STILL NO REFUND! IF I COULD GIVE THIS COMPANY ZERO STARS, I ABSOLUTELY WOULD! This has been one of the WORST business experiences I’ve ever had, and I would NEVER recommend Web Tech Craft to another business owner. BUYER BEWARE! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
