After a little bit of research I found the Chameleon Dating Software on the internet. I saw the good reviews and decided to buy the product. It was a good decision. The support is for free and the staff is always very fast in responding. I just don't like the short answers, but generally they're helpful. The software itself is good and the use of it is easy to learn. Programming skills are certainly helpful, but not needed in most of the cases. If there are bigger problems, then the support center can help. Also the frameworks are quite nice and adjustable for ones needs. The only problem is that certain features that one framework offers (and another one not) can't be transferred to another one. Anyway, I liked the logo design very much and the price is quite reasonable for what you get in return! The payment systems are a bit outdated and there seem to be no programmers on the chameleon mods site who offer modifications. All in one it is a pleasure to work with the software. I really enjoy it. There are some small bugs, but with the help of the support team such troubles are solved really quickly. I hope that there're going to be useful updates soon, especially for using the payment system Klarna, and that the mods site is still working... Anyway, until now I'm satisfied with the software. Therefore, I'd like to thank the developers for their good work! Update: People are fooled here: mods chameleonsoftwareonline (Chameleon Mods) I paid several hundreds of Euros for a modification that takes only one minute of work. Besides, the dating software is very old fashioned and seriously needs some design updates. After my experience of owning a dating business for 4 years I wouldn't use Chameleon anymore if I started a new one now.

I will just kind of write some talking points but in no order of importance. 1-my overall impression so far is I am happy for making the purchase. it was a package deal and was the closest thing I could find to what I wanted and still be out of the box software. It allows us customer to try a date site and have all the functions in place to start. 2- The in house hosting also makes it easy and if I want I can host elsewhere. 3- I have been open only a month and have over 300 members already and they are chatting each other. 4- A critisism is the template [urban] is limited in functionality and needs alot of modifications and i was not that happy when every answer seems to be {go to freelance.com]...I feel most customers who buy this product are not webmasters or capable of the technical things a site needs so the owners of chameleon should be offering a much more extensive in house team of programmers to offer their assistiance rather than dish us off to freelancer and I have been having a very difficult time with frelancers who promise the stars and deliver very little. An example is one of the templates offers a better registration process that forces a picture to be uploaded but the urban template does not offer it. Its kind of frustrating because there are features on other templates I like but overall I don't like the template in general and urban was the best choice. The registration process in urban is way to simplistic and does not enforce a pic so many of my members create a profile without a pic which is something I dont like. The other issue in registration is once you create a profile you are sent directly to your profile and many members forget to click the email to confirm and then they are blocked from logging in., if they are lucky and I say Hi they say their account is blocked but it blocked because they never opened the confirmation email. The registration should enforce a picture as well as force the user to fill out the "About me" part and the "I want to meet" part, then be forced to confirm their account before logging in. 5- if you go with their hosting and you need to hire a 3rd party programmer you never want him to have access except for the time he needs it and this is usually done buy giving him access in Cpanel and creating permissions or changing password and then changing it back after he is done. I was in shock when I needed to change my password for a programmer and was told I cant change my password. Its not even believable to think in this year of 2015 that its impossible to change passwords. How can we hire a 3rd party programmer and use the in house hosting at the same time? 6- Sometimes I get a good response when I issue a ticket and its resolved but many times the answer is so short and the directions to the answer are almost reduced to a 4 word sentence that literally means nothing. This equates to poor customer service and yes, sometimes the answers are fast and accurate but many times the answer is terrible. 7 I would have given 4 stars but the lack of programming assistance and some of the atrocious answers from the help desk keep it to 3. In closing.....would I tell a friend to buy this or tell him to not buy it? I still feel its a good deal and yes I would recommend this product to a person who wants to try a date site.

Good script but not so good support. Yes I understand the price is EXTRA low (datingpro.com costs 10 times more with all the features Chameleon offers) but I would prefer to pay 200 bucks more and get a faster support. Some tickets may take as long as 24(!) hours to reply. Yes there are many clients but a slightly higher price could afford them to hire more people. Also they almost do not do modifications and I have to use freelancer.com. It is ok, but would be a lot better if they themselves could help with this.
