Unsolicited Spam Alerts were Annoying!
I was a member for several years and enjoyed dropping by very occasionally when a particular case captured my attention. No problems with users, mod's at that time and I rarely posted. Suddenly I began receiving unsolicited alerts several times a week about cases I had no interest in from one of the mod's. It was like being spammed, only there was no way to stop or delete these alerts. I contacted the mod's for assistance stopping these and was met with an incredibly condescending and rude response telling me it was a "small price to pay". My next move was a request for cancellation. Instead, they banned me. So, a few weeks later I requested my account be completely wiped and they complied. Probably just an arrogant Mod, but it resulted in a cancellation and not a good look.
