Website MotiveReviews of websitemotive.com

I hired this company to build me a website and an app. They promised the website in 8 weeks and the app in 6 months. Over a year later, I still don’t have a finished product. We hired an AI engineer to look into it and found out that they hadn’t done any work at all. The codeing for the app was just copied from somewhere online and it literally was all garbage and pieced together codeing that did nothing. These people are extreme scammers!! The positive reviews below are from fake bots. When I got on a conference call with Ema who had been working with us she couldn’t answer questions. Finally we tried to get the “coders” on the phone and it sounded like a call center in the background in India. Nobody personally came on the line. They emailed us the “code” and we were able to pinpoint exactly where they copied it from. Our website never worked. They guaranteed 100% money back but changed their name and contact information. Ema changed her last name 3 times - Richards, Dackson, Palmer. If you are dumb enough to hire these people and not heed the warnings of their scams, you deserve to lose your money. These people are pieces of garbage for stealing from innocent people. Hey Website Motive - prove me wrong and give me my money back!

Worst eld possible... pos device malfuctioned made me take 2nd lunch over 8 seconds of glitch...this is worthless... customer service no help at all....

Scammers take your money with no work being done .. all fake stuff

This company is a scam - they stole my money and did not complete the agreed upon project. I was told i would be issued a refund but was then ghosted! do not do business with them.

The process started off simple enough dealing with BRUCE LOCKWOOD, we went through giving the information needed such as the headers, descriptions, etc. After calling Bruce back twice and after providing all necessary information, there were still areas that had dummy text that wouldn't allow us to edit because of the coding. We attempted to reach Bruce again..... Couldn't get through with him left a message with another associate one one week later never heard from Bruce, sent email MAY 1,2024 no response! Fast forward to today I called again, of course I'm asking him about changing the dummy texts and the layout and he just rambles as he has every call and his explanations basically spins you in a circle leaving you more confused! He got rude with me when I didn't understand exactly what he was say and asked him the same question again, and told me not to be rude! End result is now a live website with dummy text and fake AI generated pictures that we cannot revise because we now don't have access to the coding.

I had a terrible experience with this company a few months back and wrote and submitted a review. Today I received several calls from one of their scamming counterparts. The counterpart stated he was Website Motives attorney and was requesting that I take the review down, remove it. He said his name was Adam Clarke from Baker McKenzie of Los Angeles. I asked the scammer to stop calling me and told him I would not remove it because they would probably do the same thing to someone else. Although I asked him at least twice to stop calling, he continued. I called the law firm that Adam Clarke said he was calling from and as I thought, they do not have anyone with that name. Beware of this company as they go to great lengths to disguise their scamming ways. I told Adam Clarke that I would be posting another review. Beware everyone!
