I was a customer there and was enjoying the service that I was getting with waxing my eyebrows from Kelly. I showed up to my appointment on time. A customer came in. That was 15 minutes late. They took them so by the time my appointment came I was late. They didn’t take me on time. I got up and walked out. Poor service absolutely poor service. There was some person at the counter. I don’t know if it was a man or a woman that had long fingernails and had its hair in a ponytail and had on high heel slippers I believe it was a man I am disgusted. I believe that if you come in late to your appointment, you’re not seeing so the person who comes in for their appointment on time is put late and have to sit and wait totally unfair. I will never go there again.

I’m posting this after repeatedly trying to resolve this privately with European Wax Center. This began when I needed to RESCHEDULE an appointment because I didn’t have enough hair growth. I canceled through the app, specifically wrote “reschedule” in the cancellation, and immediately began selecting a new appointment. Less than five minutes later—while I was actively rescheduling—I received an alert that I had been charged a cancellation fee. I immediately called the Greenville, SC studio to explain. Instead of helping resolve a simple misunderstanding, Samara was aggressive and confrontational, repeatedly insisting I knew about the 24-hour policy because I had once called in sick and rescheduled. I genuinely did not know about the policy. I was not abandoning my appointment or services—I have prepaid Wax Passes and was literally in the process of rebooking. I even asked to be put back on my original appointment rather than be charged. I was told no. What began as a small cancellation-fee dispute has now become something much bigger. I have contacted the studio in writing FOUR times and called countless times. The manager has left me one voicemail, but I have still been unable to meaningfully resolve this. When I call, Samara repeatedly answers, and after our interaction I am not comfortable speaking with her. Waxing—particularly Brazilian waxing—is an extremely personal and intimate service. After this experience, I no longer feel safe or comfortable returning to this studio. The problem is that I have substantial prepaid services remaining: • 11 unused Brazilian sessions • 1 unused lower-leg session • Prorated unused value: $604.50 I am simply asking European Wax Center to refund my $604.50 in unused prepaid services to my original payment method so I can end my relationship with this location. I have now escalated the matter to European Wax Center Corporate, filed a BBB complaint (which BBB confirmed was forwarded to EWC), and submitted a complaint to the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs. I am not asking for anything unreasonable. I do not want free services or additional compensation. I simply want the money I prepaid for the 12 services I will not use because I no longer feel comfortable receiving such personal services at this location. I will gladly update this review if European Wax Center resolves this appropriately.

I was in San Antonio for an event but am from Wisconsin. I booked a Brazilian at Alamo quarry European Wax center because it had a half off a service for first time customers. First of all the lady is standing in the room while I’m undressing. Weird, no curtain no wipes just, “you can undress from the waist down hunni.” I get my wax and can’t even remember the woman’s name but nice young lady but she should not be an aesthetician, I requested clean, smooth everywhere front and back, I don’t know what she was doing but she left so much hair on my labia and butt crack. Now I have been getting waxed for 16 years and have never had a bad experience. My hair comes out easy because of my growth pattern, so it’s not hard. One pass on an area and the hair will be gone, 30min waxes! This was 45 min and she left HAIR!!! But hold on then I go to check out and they tell me that I’ve been there before so I’m not a first time Customer now I ain’t never been to a European wax center a day in my life. But they said I used it in Florida while I was in Wisconsin comical. I wish I could share photos because someone needs to see the results of $85!

I have been coming to the culver city location for years !! and i made the mistake of signing my daughter up for her student wax pass, when I did I specifically asked to please be contacted for any purchases due to her being a MINOR. Today she had a appt for a underarm wax & surprise surprise I get charged for a service I already PAID FOR . No one contacted me, no call , no email. & when I called to speak to a manager of course shes no where to be found. So thanks culver city location. Taylor being the front desk who checked my daughter out went ahead and charged my card. It sucks having to switch locations, but this is unacceptable .

I was late for my appointment by 10 minutes. I went in to pay the fee and reschedule for another day. Instead of making me reschedule for another day and paying for the fee. The receptionist already had me rescheduled for about an hour later. The waxer Tamara was very skilled. Quick and effortless. The most comfortable wax experience that ive ever had. And I have been getting waxed for years. The least amount of paid ive ever had. Her expertise showed in her work. She was so friendly and informational.

Worst service ever . Unprofessional and bad attitude and service . Horrible experience. The worst behavior . And the worst center ever . She was insulting me none stop .she was pouring powder all over me , I asked to cover my pants so that they don’t get dirty , she was upset . and grabbed a couple of paper towels that did not cover anything . She was applying and removing the wax as if my arms are plastic . And the constant questioning where were you born , where do you live, what are you doing in lake Charles and on and on . Stay clear . Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a service company . I will never come back to this center .no wonder why the store is empty . I was able to make an appointment on the spot .if I could have put a negative I would . Don’t believe the good reviews they are all probably her friends .

Pine Lake/ Lincoln Ne- Location: Casey was great! She was an absolute professional, best wax I ever have received! She's fast, fun, friendly!
