Their customer service phone line is running by an Indian SCAM company. They are refusing to send a refund check of my closed account balance. They are just wasting my time. Liars! Called them 6-7 times and they said "follow the e-mails, no problem we will send you a check" (And phone had always been picked up by people with THICK accent. So it makes me think that they're not even located in US!) I have been dealing with these scammers for couple of months. I know that they don't believe in god or being a good person. Just pure evil these people are! If anyone see this message, Please help me! And stay away from these creatures! Please contact me if you are an honest Walmart member or a high-rank who could help me. Please!

Each Month I am getting statements from the Walmart money card in my email. I wanted to discover why I was receiving the statements, so I logged on to the related Walmart money card account. At one point I signed up for a Walmart money card, but the activation did not work properly. At that time, I attempted multiple times with two different cards, but neither card activated. Nothing worked. This past month I tried to call Walmart on the toll-free number on the website, but they require the last 4 digits of an active card to speak with you. Since the card was never activated, the automated system will not allow you to talk to a live person. I was able to talk to use the chat feature of the online account, but because my card is not active, they are unable to help me. I asked to chat with a supervisor, but my request for a supervisor is ignored. Currently there are no fees nor is there a balance. I still feel frustrated, because I can can not resolve this issue. There are no official avenues to resolve this issue.

It's Terrible I went to money services to pay some bills through walmart Money services. I told the girl I wanted to pay my water bill in my electric bill or am I united over-the-counter chord? Instead, she asked me to insert my card and she billed me twice for one bill which threw monkey wrench in what I had to do being on a set income is. Hard. For somebody to play with your money. These kids are too busy on Facebook or on their phones to do a proper job. So I called the store and spoke with Joey who's full of himself very rude and considerate. Don't know how to handle customers. This store is located at 360 Harbison boulevard in Columbia, South Carolina. Went back to the store after I had gotten home and settled in and taken.My medicaution I had to get out there and dri don't like this kind of bad business! People watch your money and watch closely when you're paying a bill and what people are doing with your credit card! I called to see what time money center closed & had another question about fees for checks, the lady proceeds to tell me the money center doesn’t cash checks.. lol. I’ve had multiple checks cashed there so I was a bit confused. She then said she would transfer me, I could then hear her & a coworker talking crap? As if I asked for alot or was rude. I let her know I could hear them. She then hung up the phone on me. Customer service is trash. This is sad, yall just hire anyone & they talk to customers however. Very unprofessional & rude.

I have had this card for 11 years and am closing my account. The reason is that I've had two recent negative experiences involving their so-called "customer service" representatives. During each call, I politely questioned the reasoning behind long delays in crediting pending refunds. Not only did the representatives not have an answer for me, they both abruptly disconnected the call. I've never experienced representatives rudely hanging up on me because I asked a question. They really are the worst at their job. There are plenty of other banking options out there. I strongly encourage anyone considering opening a Walmart money card account to look elsewhere. You'll be happier for doing so.

Terrible company. Many products from China, poor quality or toxic or both.

I wish I could give 0 stars. The tax refund deposit is a lie, they’ll kick it back and say they don’t have the money to fill it or who knows take your money. Not a single damn money card employee speaks English. I didn’t fight for my rights to have my money stolen by people who can’t even communicate effectively with me. This whole card seems like a scam. BUYER BEWARE, DANGER DANGER. Also they’ll say they’re gonna send you a personalized card but don’t worry you’ll never receive it which will limit what you can do with the card. Also direct deposit payrolls will never hit on time. Oh, man. There’s so much I could say but I’d stay far away especially from “Sasha” if that’s her real name, rude and unhelpful, worst supervisor I’ve ever spoke with, I would t have given them that title. People just be smart and stay away.

Avoid theft of your money by avoiding Walmart’s debit cards. This is my experience. I purchased a Walmart debit card and immediately transferred 200 dollars to it at the register. At that point problems with the card were activated. Walmart refused to accept the card with there system refusing to recognize it, so did any other store or ATM. When I approached customer service in a Walmart store about the problem, I was told that they can’t look into the problem and that I need to address it through the website. When activating the card, the automated service would rush through entering the card number, making entering the number difficult and frustrating, timing out before I had time to enter the complete number. I complained to BBB about the card. The result was Walmart sending me another card in the mail which did not work, just as the first card. In the mean time a free is continually being charged every month for my having possession of a non-working Walmart debit card. Enven though the card could not be used, Walmart continued to drain money from the amount that I initially deposited on the card. Monthly fees were being charge, even though the card could not be and was not being used. Calling to resolve the situation was also pointless. When I finaly got a hold of a generic answering center in some foreign county, I was told that the drain of the account is normal, that nothing could be done about the fees, and that there is nothing wrong with the card. After being refused any resolution to the problem with the Walmart debit card, I insisted that the account be closed. For which I was confronted with the operator insisting that I provide a reason why I would want the account closed. And my dissatisfaction of the card was not acceptable. Today, the account is still slowly being sucked dry, month by month. The Walmart debit card account has not been closed, and I have not seen any of my 200 dollars. So unless you are interested in Walmart stealing from you and driving you to an early grave in added aggravation, avoid Walmart’s debit MasterCard.
