No better glasses
I went to this vision center center because the prices are reasonable. The glasses I received were the same exact prescription I originally had. I can't see any better now than I did before I went there.

I am writing to share a concerning experience I had at the Northside Lakeland Walmart Optical location recently. While attempting to purchase a new pair of eyeglasses, I felt I was given the "third degree" by a staff member because I had previously returned a pair of glasses to Sam's Club. The eyeglasses were returned because after only a couple weeks of sporadic use, one of the lenses had a scratch. The Walmart associate requested assurance that I would not be returning the glasses I was about to buy from Walmart before proceeding with the sale. Per the Walmart associate, Sam's Club had recorded the return as "customer stated he did not need the eyeglasses", instead of defective-damaged len. I felt that my privacy with Sam Club was compromised. The Walmart associate, instead of helping me, had stereotyped me. I wanted to bring this interaction to you all, as it made for a very uncomfortable customer experience.

Very poor. Prescription still not correct. They blamed my eye dr whom I went back to have prescription re-checked. Was told prescription correct, it was in making of lenses. I had even gotten warranty, was told covered glasses completely, but after saying notbcorrect, they told me only breakage. After 3 attempts walmart fix issue and not accomplished, Walmart refused to correct issue. Glasses worse on 3rd attempt. Some staff between two stores I was treated rudley. Had to contact walmart store manager. Have woken glasses for 45 years, never an issue until going to walmart. I had to go somewhere else to get glasses. Do NOT recommend walmart vision to anyone. I

Sick of their lack of concern when needing the glasses adjusted! I am also sickened at rhe way my over $350. Prescription Sunglasses ruining! Two pair have become ABSOLUTELY RUBBISH! My transitional prescription glasses are awful too! I wish the VA VCS were better, but they are not!

I purchased my eyeglasses at Walmart Vision Center and this is the second time I am facing the exact same problem. After about 6 to 7 months of normal use, the anti-reflective coating starts peeling off the lenses. This is very frustrating because I take good care of my glasses — cleaning them properly and storing them safely — yet the lenses do not last. Eyeglasses are an expensive and essential product, and it is unacceptable to need replacement lenses in such a short period of time. I kindly request that Walmart take responsibility for this recurring defect by offering a free replacement of the lenses or providing a permanent solution to prevent this issue from happening again.

I am not happy! Their first lab could not do the prescription they sent it to another lab without telling me. They need to send peoples specialty glasses to a more prompt lab! If I had not needed them I would not have went and I would have went to a more reliable, faster eye glass place. Do not go there.

I purchased prescription glasses and prescription sunglasses, relying on the quotes provided by the "experts" after checking my insurance and co-pays. I paid 50% when I placed my order and the remaining 50% when I picked them up. A month later, I received a statement indicating that I owed an additional $50 because they hadn't charged me the co-pay. Was this a mistake, or was it due to a lack of knowledge? I dislike unexpected charges, that's why I pay the full amount. I trusted employees who apparently weren't knowledgeable about their jobs. If you decide to shop there, ensure that all the numbers are accurate. For me, this was my first and last visit to this so-called "great" place, which ultimately disappoints its customers.

First, my prescription is not a good fit for me. The eye doctor did not take her time with fine tuning the prescription. Also, I mentioned several times that I needed something specifically for driving. Unfortunately, since I don't need to wear them constantly I falsely assumed that I was in an adjustment period. By the time I was sure that the problem was the prescription, it was too late to take them back. Then, I get a bill in the mail basically doubling my co-pay. I walked out of the store paying $170 then received a letter claiming, due to a mistake made at the store, I owe them another $148. Definitely do not recommend. California, Maryland Store.
