Definitely recommend him!! Worth it! Working with Sam has been exactly what I was looking for. Before the program I had a goal but no sense of direction or a road map. Sam brings in that sense of direction and numerous other things to make sure you achieve your goal of breaking into banking.

Let me just start by saying joining the Wall Street Mastermind Prep program has been one of the best investments I have made throughout my academic journey. Being able to work with like-minded individuals, I have been able to not only master recruiting but also been able to work on personal development. This program is led by Sam Shiah who is an outright expert in terms of investment banking recruiting for both undergraduate and graduate students. From the beginning of the program until the end of the program, Sam serves as a great mentor who is available at all times in order to answer any questions or help you with last-minute items. The course layout is unparallel to anything I have seen before on the market where the course takes you in a step by step process in order to master Networking, Behavioral, Technicals, etc. At the end of the day, I learned that time is one of the most valuable assets that we have. All in all, this program does just that where everything you need to learn including every resource you need is given to you in a methodical way to make sure you take responsibility for your own learning and ensure your success in the most time-efficient manner.

All around great program. Unlimited in-person meetings, best resume/networking/interview video guides, and strong community with other members. Helped me go from 0 prep to an offer at GS/MS/JPM top group within 4 months. Recommend for anyone looking to maximize their chances of breaking into the best firm/group that they can, regardless of previous experience.

Before WSMM, I was confused and unsure of how to best approach the IB recruitment process, which to me was very opaque. I knew I wanted in, but didn't know how to overcome all the obstacles. By enrolling in WSMM, Sam helped me work from the ground up, starting from my resume and cover letters. Then, he was able to train me in all kinds of interview questions, and give 1:1 advice for networking that I really needed. Through all of this, I was able to get into our school's competitive IB program and received an offer to intern part-time during the year.

Sam was a tremendous help to me, and I owe a lot of my success to him. I came in as a second semester sophomore with no finance experience/knowledge. Junior summer recruiting was about three months away, and I had just failed sophomore summer recruiting. Even though I knew absolutely nothing, I quickly became one of the most successful IB recruits at my school. The differences in my behavioral answers were astounding, and I ended up with ~30 interview referrals. On top of that, I rarely (if ever) missed a technical question in my interviews. Because of this, I received multiple top offers, and I am taking an internship at a tier 1 bulge bracket (GS/MS/JPM). If I decide to pursue private equity, I'll definitely be coming back for round two of Wall Street Mastermind.

The program is great to learn fundamentals of IB recruiting, from networking to the technical questions. You can learn some tricks about networking and the standard of the industry for such conversations if you didn't have someone to teach you. In addition, you also get unlimited edits and feedback on your resume and behavioral answers from former investment bankers during your time in the program. That way you can keep on improving. Lastly the technicals are taught through videos that break everything down step by step. It allows you to learn the fundamentals of how things work rather than just trying to memorize answers from a guide which can help you prepare in essence for several questions at once. It's basically a class for career prep with a teacher available 7 days a week to ask questions.

This program has provided me with the necessary tools and resources to maximize my potential for a summer internship at an investment bank. Sam is a great mentor that provides great insights into the recruiting process and is very responsive towards each individual's needs. I can confidently say that without this program, I would be clueless when it comes to navigating the recruiting process.

I was extremely satisfied with Wall Street Mastermind and Sam Shiah. Sam is one of the most hard-working individuals I know. He is not only working by your side but he is invested in your success. Whenever I had a question, Sam went out of his way to make sure I understood every concept I needed for the technicals. He also made sure to help craft a unique story for my behavioral answers. By the time I had super days for investment banks in New York City, I was super confident. A lot of the questions the interviewers asked me I already practiced with Sam. He made a huge difference in my preparation process because he gave me all the resources I needed to successfully break into banking; he was essentially a one-stop-shop for everything I needed. I ended up getting a summer internship in New York and received a full-time offer. Not only was I prepared for my interviews, but I performed very well in my internship because of all his guidance in the process. Sam not only is super knowledgeable about the whole process because he helped a lot of other students break into banking, but he is very caring as well. He made sure to push me and didn't stop helping me until I was satisfied. I would highly recommend Sam to anyone else who wants a competitive edge to break into investment banking. Not only was he an amazing coach, but he is a role model, and taught me to work hard and how to set goals for success.
