VONETEL must not be a creditable company. I have a permanent service agreement, and their web page says my account is inactive. Cant be inactive if it is a permanent service agreement. Need a refund of my permanent service agreement total.

It is not a scam, they do not steal any info and they CAN fix things if necessary but they are misleading and take advantage of desperate people. They took my dad for $200 because he had a “virus” popup. It was just a phishing scam and my dad didn’t interact with it. So there was no risk. But my dad got worried and looked up Microsoft support phone number and Vonatels number came up as the number. (also misleading). My dad gave remote access to “fix” it and then charged $200. I learned about this layer when my dad told me what happened and my mom explained what she saw. Also I called later. when you call them they don’t say “vonatel” and if you ask them “is this Microsoft?” They don’t say no - they just say “Yes we service your Microsoft computer”. $200 my dad didn’t need to spend. From now on he’s waiting for me to check it out.

Vonetel is a fake support site. They use their customer's computers and their own computers to leave fake reviews on websites to look legitimate, as well as register their scammer business on the Better Business Bureau and leave their selves fake reviews to get a good rating. Also, they use the vast amounts of money they make scamming poor unsuspecting people to pay the BBB to be accredited. What is $45 a month when you make literally millions from scamming people each year? Trust me, I am an onsite computer repair tech and deal with the aftermath of these scammers at least once a week. Vonetel is 100% a scam. Look at the address they use on their BBB listing. The person that lived there ended up going to jail for fraud. There is no business there, just a residential house that also was another scam business called Accent Payroll.

My computer got hit with a Trojan. I called MicroSoft and they said Vonetel would fix it. The cost for their service was $199.00. After I spoke with Vonetel they started the work but then they started saying I would need to buy a protection plan from them. We finally settled on about $1,000 for two years of service. They did get rid of the Trojan and installed an annoying "Ad Blocker." Was I ripped off?

I seriously think these people write their own reviews! They are very polite and very nice and talk circles around you. My 80 some year old grandmother bought a service program from them for $449 that was supposed to be a lifetime security support then it said one year support of Repair and Services. So five months later which was January she called them for help and they charged her $399.98 for three year security with repair and clean up. Then the gentleman started arguing with me when I said why did she have to pay the second time he started talking about stuff that made no sense at all. And if you call the numbers that they have of 1-800-400-5674 that’s customer service it comes back as a number that doesn’t exist you call the administrative after about 30 or 40 rings it’s hung up on or you call it if someone picks up after two or three rings and then you don’t hear anything for a few minutes and you hung up on. So say this company is legit why are you talking circles around me and not explaining why you charged my grandmother $400 twice for the same service within five months of each other! I could’ve come over and cleaned up her computer free for what these people were charging and apparently the man is like every time she calls that’s why she had to pay it within what is the three-year what’s a three-year service security repair and clean up what’s the unlimited lifetime what’s what is it then what are you paying for every time you call you get paid $400. I am going to get to the bottom of this, because this is unacceptable!!
