I bought a Vivitar DVR 4K Camcorder and almost everything about it is awful. It won't read the Sandisk card I got for it and most of the touch screen options just don't work. It's terrible in low light and the LCD screen is hard to read while shooting. I'm told the Vivitar name was purchased by a Chinese company but the product is not the same. I've had this experience with about 90 percent of Chinese products I've purchased that turn out to be not what they said it was.

The camera worked ok until it came time to download the pictures that were on the internal drive. After many attempts I called Customer Service and I was told that you cannot download the pictures from the internal drive, you can only view them on the small screen. If you want to take pictures that you can download then you will need to buy a SD Card. If they would make this known on the box then I would not have bought or I would have bought a SD Card. Big ripoff like most of businesses do these days with online ordering. DO NOT BUY A VIVITAR KIDZCAM CAMERA. Not worth it in the long run.

I filed this complaint because I thought that Vivikara wouldn’t help me out for my missing items. Now I dealing with the a representative of a company who supplied the items, Solstixien from Singapore they are the ones who refuse to send me a replacement or refund my money. After reading a lot of complaints, I think maybe we are blaming the wrong company. I could be wrong but this is my experience with them. That 1* was to much to give this company. I purchased 2 hats from this company. Somehow they got my previous address in Pittsburgh, my order form clearly stated my new address in SC. I called the company to fix the address they said they would take care of it. Well they didn’t and my items went to Pittsburgh. They would not answer how they got my previous addresses. I called them and they said the order was considered delivered and it was my job to trace the items myself. They won’t give me money back and they won’t send replacement. They washed their hands of it. OMG this company has 100’s of complaints on the BBB site how do they continue to do business. Why aren’t they arrested?

RGB TV sync lights. Complete fraud! Claims fit 55-to-65-inch tv. Impossible with only 8 feet of lights. You need 14.75 feet to cover a 65-inch tv. This is complete and under FRAUD. They are selling something with false information. The backing will not stick; the lights do not turn on and the sensor will not work. The lights then shorted out and as I wiggled em, they would come on and off. This is junk! Why would they sell this to the public? Im taking mine back to Walmart stuffed in the open box. I just bought it, I will get my money back and purchase another product not from them Please do not buy this, trust me!

I was given one of their drones as a award from my company, the 3.5 channel camera helicopter, and controlling it was wishful thinking. However, the real issue was after less than five minutes of playing around with it, one of the springs holding the batteries in place in the controller began to heat up to the point of glowing bright orange and smoking. The rechargeable battery it was touching was fried because of it. Do not purchase from this company.

I got a Sky Flow Drone for Christmas last year (2023). I got to fly it once and then I hit a tree branch and broke a couple of blades. Put the couple of the replacement blades on which are basically none existent in the package. Flew it again and it decided to go do it's on thing and had a little crash again, hardly any damage at all except for the same blades broke. I got online to find some replacement blades and no matter where I looked (even the Vivitar web site) and NOTHING!! Called customer service and they said they were on back order. I have called about 5 or 6 times now and they keep telling me the same thing. They will be at your address in several days. Several months and phone calls later and I'm still in the same spot. They've told me they would call me back in 24 to 48 hrs and that's been over a week and still no word. ALL I WANT TO DO IS FLY MY DRONE!!! I am not happy at all with the way they are handling it. As of now I will never buy anything from VIVITAR ever again and I will tell anyone and everyone I see to do the same. All I need is some replacement blades, that's it!! Ugh. By the way I've been dealing with this since July 26th 2024 and nothing.

20 years ago, I bought a digital camera from them that failed to work right out of the box, so I returned it. Today, I received an automatic soap dispenser made by them and it failed to work right out of the box. This company just produces trash.

Don't waste your money! Two brand new units, second one warrantied and neither of them would do as advertised. All modes did not work, would not connect to Wi-Fi, so no pictures or video capability. Follow me mode did not work, home landing did not work. Nothing worked. It did fly however impossible to control even in perfect weather. Advice for the company? Don't make garbage!
