Surgical Technologist v. Surgical Technician
Adventist health recruiter gave me a hard time regarding my job title which she claimed it to be different on my resume. Surgical technologist vs. Surgical technician. I’ve been titled both , but because of my resume stating Surgical Technologist, she stated it was for a Surgical Technician position , therefore I lost out on a job opportunity.

3 months of Vivian and no jobs landed!
So many agents reaching out to me asking for my information when all of it is posted on Vivian. Also I have not landed a job yet since using Vivian for 3 months now, so that’s frustrating.

They do have plenty of postings for…
They do have plenty of postings for travel positions but the moment you let a recruiter know you’re interested the jobs are always filled!

A lot of activity but misleading
A lot of activity but misleading. Posted opportunities were closed or filled. Many reps contacted me as if I would be submitted and had me fill out their applications only to be told it was filled and then they would send me jobs with very low taxable wage, $15.00 an hour!!! Only one rep was upfront with me and said the posted position was closed but she would work with me to find another position. I found a position with my current rep not through this app. So I think it was a good enough learning experience to give it 2 stars but for finding a good paying travel job, it is only one star because it has a bait and switch vibe.

Why I gave Vivian only two stars.
When asking for RN it also includes RNFA. When asking for OR and NOT CVOR...it includes CVOR. Many non responses from so called recruiters. Same job posted 10 to 15 times with EXTREME ranges in pay rates (like over 1.2k a week ranges). I was sent and still get sent NUMEROUS listings, postings and messages from recruiters for California and other places which are not even on my preferences. Companies most of us have NEVER even heard of. The list goes on.
