nice for people who want to learn how a business works

I've been playing Virtonomics for several years now. When I started, the game was a very good business simulation game and would have deserved a 4 star rating. Unfortunatly, the DEV became greedy over time and the recent updates add no new interresting features, but rather added only more pay to win stuff and even removed free content to put it under subscription. Nowadays, new "free to play" players can only do 2 things in the game to be profitable : 1) Buy stuff from existing players at low price and resell it at a higher price in their store. 2) Buy stuff from existing players, store it in a warehouse and resell it at a higher price. So the game is really hostile towards new players who start not only with a huge economic disadvantage, but also with only a few options in the game unless to be ready to spend thousands of $$$. I suspect that the DEV seek to extract as much money from existing players before closing the game definitly in some years.

Really fun game, great way to learn business skills and build a business. Have been playing this game for years!

Nice game but the main problem I think is that it is quit difficult to understand for a new player like me but it will surly help u in your future business planning and strategy.

trust me when I say this, this is the best videos game I have ever played. I still can't believe that they have integrated both politics and business into this game

Pay to win: there are donation offers on every corner. An ugly, eye-popping interface with no dark mode. There is no clear explanation of what is going wrong; the information provided does not take into account most of the parameters. You cannot change your nickname without contacting technical support in the game in 2024. At the initial stage, only stores pay off; do not believe the advertising that industries from medicine to aircraft construction are available to you; you will start from a point of sale, even if it is not clearly indicated. Conclusion: The developers just get money for subscriptions, luring out old fans; they only improve the game for show, doing the minimum to show that the game is not abandoned.
