Very disappointing
I signed up for a Virgin Wines wine club for my wife and have been a member for a while now. Originally the service was great; The wines and rating system were nice. The included tasting notes and information on the wines were a nice touch. Unfortunately for the past 9 months or so the quality of service has declined dramatically. I have had to cancel my more recent shipments as they have been delayed well over a month. Any time I reach out to customer service they tell me they are 'changing warehouses' and this is a 'one-off'. Apparently they don't understand what a 'one-off' is, nor do I see how a warehouse change could impact deliveries for the majority of a year. When I responded saying that I'm tired of receiving they same excuse, they responded basically calling me a liar saying my shipments have been delivered on time. Yeah, no kidding because I cancelled the delayed ones. Maybe a little more attention to detail next time "Brittini"? Additionally they will sign you up and opt you in for cases you never agreed to or signed up for called 'Seasonal' or 'Holiday' cases. You won't know anything about it apparently unless you receive a flyer in the mail (didn't get) and then see a random charge on your account for a case you didn't ask for. I would not recommend this wine service to anyone that values their time or energy. I typically don't leave bad reviews for companies unless the service I've received is what I would consider exceptionally bad. Take my word for it, or find out the hard way. The choice is yours, but don't say I didn't warn you. Currently searching for alternatives.
